  Hello, Workawayers! My name is Kristina, and I can't wait to welcome volunteers to my father's beautiful countryside garden in the small village of near Hofbieber, located in the scenic Rhön region of central Germany. Let me tell you more about our project and what you can expect during your stay.
  I am a 28-year-old traveler who has had the wonderful experience of being a Workawayer myself. Currently, I spend most of my time in Sweden, and over the summer, I'll be at my father's. We are a small family that values cultural exchange and loves meeting people from around the world.

  At our place, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in German culture and experience life in a charming village. Hofbieber is nestled in the beautiful Rhön region, where the states of Hesse, Bavaria, and Thuringia converge. The area offers stunning natural landscapes and a rich cultural heritage. We are eager to learn from your experiences and share our knowledge with you. I speak German, English, Spanish, and some Swedish, ensuring smooth communication and fostering a multicultural environment.

  Aide

  There's a lot to do in our garden, and we would greatly appreciate help from someone with knowledge about plants and gardening. We have some fruit shrubs that aren't thriving as we had hoped, and we believe it's due to a lack of knowledge. We would greatly appreciate the help and expertise of volunteers in nurturing these plants. Additionally, I have plans to include water features in the garden, but that will be done at the right time and with your valuable input.
  
  Type of Help Requested:
  
  Gardening: Assisting with plant care, landscaping, and nurturing our fruit shrubs.
  Creative Projects: Providing input and ideas for water features and helping with their implementation.
  Outdoor Seating Area: Helping to create a more secluded and comfortable space for relaxation.
  
  Schedule:
  We typically expect around 4 hours/day, on average. The schedule is flexible, for instance, you may choose to dedicate more time on one day to enjoy a day trip exploring the breathtaking nature that surrounds us.

  Hébergement

  You will be staying with us in the house, where you'll have your own room and access to shared facilities like the bathroom and kitchen. We also have an outdoor seating area, but I would love to make it more secluded to create a cozy and private space for everyone.

  Transportation and Local Sights:
  Although public transportation in our village is limited, I will be happy to assist you in getting around. Hofbieber and the surrounding Rhön region offer numerous attractions to explore.   During August, our village hosts an outdoor art exhibition featuring over 30 talented artists. It's an excellent opportunity to witness the creative spirit and interact with the local artistic community.
  
  Food:
  As someone who follows a mainly vegan diet, I understand the importance of catering to different dietary preferences. We can provide food suitable for both vegan and non-vegan diets, and we encourage cooking and sharing meals together.
  
  We also have seven lovely chickens, adding a touch of nature and charm to our garden.
