The volunteer is to live in Teopisca, Chiapas, included a space in the hostel shared with another person of the team, and internet.
The activities are walking dogs, cooking, feeding, cleaning, training.
* ️️We are an A.C. newly constituted dedicated to supporting temporary homes that rescue dogs and cats in street situations, abuse and neglect in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. We also aim to raise awareness about the importance of sterilization and proper care of dogs and cats among city dwellers, children and indigenous communities.
We are currently working on the development of material to raise awareness, give talks, develop productive projects and support in search of adoptions for the puppies and kittens that we rescue, which implies the use of networks, walks with dogs, carrying out events among other activities,create a new fence, take care of the plants and the garden is under construction, close with wood all the perimeter of the shelter, create a new room.
Our little refuge is 40 minutes from San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. So we also need support in walking the 21 dogs that we have there every day, buying their food, cooking and feeding , as well as cleaning the shelter, the houses for the dogs and bathing them.

*️️Somos una A.C. recién constituida dedicada a apoyar a hogares temporales que rescatan perros y gatos en situaciones de calle, maltrato y abandono en San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. También pretendemos sensibilizar sobre la importancia de la esterilización y el cuidado adecuado de los perros y gatos entre los habitantes de la ciudad, los niños y las comunidades indígenas.
Actualmente estamos trabajando en la elaboración de material para concientizar, dar pláticas, elaborar proyectos productivos, entrenamiento de perros y apoyar en búsqueda de adopciones para los perritos que rescatamos, que implica uso de redes, caminatas con perros, realizar eventos entre otras actividades, crear una valla nueva, cerrar con madera todo el perímetro del refugio, crear una nueva habitación
Nuestro pequeño refugio esta a 40 min de San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. por lo que requerimos apoyo también en pasear a los 30 perros que tenemos diariamente, comprar su comida, cocinarles y darles de comer, así como limpiar el refugio, las casas para los perritos y bañarlos.

The activities to be carried out are the following:
1 promote and obtain profits for food, vaccines, sterilizations, medicines, operations.
2. Internet / computer work: managing the website, moving the face pages, instagram, designing posters for the adoption of dogs, promoting the foundation through social networks (currently Instagram and Facebook), raising money for various media, administration in general.
3. Daily walks with the 28 dogs that we have in the shelter starting at 7am and doing two daily walks, feeding and cleaning the place.
4. We feed some dogs in street conditions every day.
The activities may vary depending on needs, except daily walks, feeding the dogs and daily cleaning.
Las actividades a realizar son las siguientes:
1. Obtener ganancias para alimento, vacunas, esterilizaciones, medicinas, operaciones.
2. Internet / trabajo de computadora: manejo de la página web, mover las páginas de face, instagram, diseñando los carteles para la adopción de perros, promoviendo la fundación a través de las redes sociales (actualmente Instagram y Facebook), recaudando dinero por diversos medios, administración en general.
3. Caminatas diarias con los 28 perros que tenemos en el refugio iniciando a las 7am y haciendo dos paseos diarios al bosque, dar de comer y hacer limpieza del lugar.
4. Damos de comer a perros en condiciones de calle todos los días.
las actividades señaladas pueden variar dependiendo las necesidades, excepto los paseos diarios, alimentar a los perros y limpieza diaria.

Hébergement
Work and lodging is directly at the shelter that remains in Teopisca, 40 min. From San Cristóbal, with a small wooden room, a dry toilet and a shower made with a hose and a water can, our conditions are still a little bit like camping, we are still building and we still need a formal bathroom and we also have a room in a small shared house where we have our disabled dog who needs physical rehabilitation and has a bathroom and shower. We are surrounded by nature and the walks are in the forest, so if you are a lover of nature and animals, you will love working with us and living the experience.
We are looking for people who know what it is to live with animals because they have to be open to getting dirty, playing, getting tired, so it is very important to be in good physical condition.
We consider dogs and cats part of the family, so they go in and out of room, (the room in the little house is prívate whitout dogs, bu is important to clean every day and be flexible before the smells of dogs and cats, in return they will give you all the love and good will you have just arrived, they are incredible beings of love and intelligence.

El trabajo y el hospedaje es directamente en el refugio que queda en Teopisca, a 40 min. De San Cristóbal, contamos con una habitación en una casita pequeña compartida dónde tenemos a nuestra perrita con discapacidad quien necesita rehabilitación física y cuenta con baño y regadera. Estamos rodeados de naturaleza y los paseos son al bosque, por lo que si eres amante de la naturaleza y los animales, te va a encantar trabajar con nosotros y vivir la experiencia.
Buscamos personas que sepan lo que es convivir con animales pues tienen que estar abiertos a ensuciarse, a jugar, a cansarse, por lo que es muy importante tengas buena condición física.
En la casita el cuarto es privado y no hay perros, excepto nuestra perrita con discapacidad que duerme en la estancia), por lo cuál hay que limpiar todos los días y ser flexible ante los olores de los perros y gatos, a cambio ellos te brindarán todo el cariño y buena voluntad recién llegues, son increíbles seres de amor e inteligencia.

San Cristóbal de las Casas is a multicultural place where you can do various activities, the city itself is a museum that has several venues, museums, textiles and culture.
You can visit nearby towns such as San Juan Chamula, Zinacantan, Chiapa de Corzo where you can take a boat ride through the Sumidero Canyon, being another magical town in the state of Chiapas; You can visit archaeological sites such as Palenque, Bonampak and Yáxchilan, as well as its cascades, lagoons and lakes.

San Cristóbal de las Casas es un lugar multicultural en donde podrán realizar diversas actividades, la ciudad en sí es un museo que cuenta con varios recintos, museos, textiles y cultura.
Podrás visitar los pueblos cercanos como San Juan Chamula, Zinacantán, Chiapa de Corzo donde podrás dar un paseo en lancha por el Cañón del Sumidero, siendo otro pueblo mágico del estado de Chiapas; podrás visitar las zonas arqueológicas como Palenque, Bonampak y Yáxchilan, así como sus cáscadas, lagunas y lagos.
