Currently giving preference to an individual/couple that enjoys gardening, vegetarian cooking with knowledge of botanicals a plus. We are also looking for an individual that has some knowledge of basic farm tools like weed whackers and chainsaws.

Who We Are:
Our Farm and Wellness Retreat is located on 7.5 acres, on the slopes of Mauna Loa Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. The farm has amazing sweeping views of Kealakekua Bay and Honaunau’s City of Refuge along the coast.
We are a small community of people living on the land creating a conscious model of food diversity, self-sufficiency, and holistic living. We host many visitors from around the world as renters, work exchangers, guests in our farm accommodations, and workshop attendees. We love inspiring a HOLISTIC LOCAL LIFESTYLE and being a working demonstration of how we can do that. We have 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and holistic living.
The farm has dozens of different types of fruit trees, edible & medicinal plants all integrated with our animal systems. Our animals include poultry, ducks, milking sheep, and goats. The original plantings on the farm were macadamia nuts and we still have over 150 macadamia nut trees. One of our primary focuses besides education is herbal medicines, including hemp. In addition to farming, we enjoy cooking, yoga, music, dance, meditation, reading, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, exploring the islands, traveling, learning about other cultures, etc.
