  Description

  We are looking for a creative being, nature- and animal lover with a love for cooking, to share their inspiration and joy with our family.
  
  We live at our family-estate in centre of Holland and in the middle of the forest. The estate consists of 200 hectares of forest, and a beautiful monumental garden with lanes of trees. I live with my two teenage kids and at the other side of the house, my cousin and my uncle.
  
  Since januari 2023 I have had Work-Awayers on and off. I really enjoy the vibe to share my home and in living together inspiring and supporting and inspiring each other, and at the same time having fun and good conversations during morning coffee's or evening tea's. It is such a joy.
  
  What are we looking for?
  - First of all; bring yourself with all that you are, a pro-active attitude, open and honest communication :-)
  - taking care of the animals (doggy, cats and rabbits)
  - Creative skils to inspire our family, DIY, drawing, filming, photography, baking stuff etc. Sports and language exchange are also welcome.
  - passion for cooking
  - If you have a drivers-licence; that's a pre (me or my kids sometimes need a drive)
  - Help with the regular little household chores - fill and empty dishwasher, washing machine, empty trash, watering indoor plant
  
  What do I offer?
  - A warm house and good vibes, beautiful surroundings in the middle of the forest.
  - Your own cosy bedroom with sink
  - Time for reflection and nature walks
  - (Electric) bike for you to move around or you can borrow my car
  
  Main thing is that you need to feel a joy to join my family.

  We live on a beautiful family-estate with lots of forest around it, in Maarn, very central in the Netherlands - 15 minutes from Utrecht and 45 min from Amsterdam. For the rest, you'll join my family, meet my friends and community. We'll have good coffee and conversations. if you are a nature lover, you are at the right place here. The surrounding is beautiful. You'll have enough space and time to enjoy that and retreat yourself.

  Aide

  My kids have a free way of learning and we love to have some creative inspiration. We love all sorts of creative input, such as (nature) photography, making jewelleries, drawing & painting, dancing and singing, nail-art etc. An energetic match between our family and you is important. With a passion for what you do, you can light up our family dynamic.
  
  When I am gone for a day or a night, because of my (freelance) work, or just going out with friends, you could be staying home with the animals. Our dog, 2 cats and 2 rabbits are happy to get some extra care when I am away for a day or so.
  
  Driving licence is a big pre, but not a must. We live a bit isolated and in autumn and winter the days are short and the forest is dark. To be able to drive yourself or me/my kids from and to activities/friends by car is a pleasant way to move.
  
  General maintenance: if you are a handy(wo)man, that is very welcome, but not a must. Always there are little things to restore and adjust.

  You wil stay in the guest room in my house (see photos) where I live with my kids, as being part of our family and we share the kitchen, living room and the terras and outside area....We live in an amazing place in the middle of nature. It is pure joy if you are a nature lover and like to be outside.

  Autres infos...

  In your off-time you can go anywhere you want, Netherland is small and we live very central. I have a bike for you to use so you can go around and make little trips to local natural surroundings. The train station is also in walking distance and very easy to reach Utrecht (15 min) or Amsterdam (45 min).

  Indy (3 ans)

  She is the last to have joined us, arrived april 2025. She is very sweet and easy to approach and in still finding her way around the house.

  Coco (10 ans)

  She is the princess of the house, next to queen Mona. She has a bit of a trust issue, so be ware. She needs to get to know you and trust your touch...

  

  Mona (13 ans)

  She an old lady (cocker spaniel) that needs constant companionship, cause she distresses when no one is around. She is actually the biggest care-needer in the house. She loves to eat and to snor on the couch.....
