  Description

  I’m a female who lives on a 25 acre property on the Hawkesbury River which is a rural area / bushland about 1 - 1/2 hours from the Sydney CBD. The property has 3 horses , a dog and chickens plus an extensive garden. The nearest town is about 1/2 hour away. I’m retired so spend time training and riding horses, gardening, doing some volunteer work and enjoying the countryside. Autumn - Spring I ride in horse Endurance competitions and the summer is on the river. The local people are very community minded and we enjoy eating out or going to each other’s homes. I love where I live as the serenity of the river and its native birds and animals is my sanctuary. My family is spread out and we don’t see each other very much so my friends are very much part of my life

  Travellers will gain first hand experience of living in the Australian bush and engaging with the community. We do go in horse treks and camp out in the bush. They will experience of bbq’s, restaurants, cruising on Sydney Harbour and other day to day activities that Australians enjoy

  Aide

  I’d like to have someone to help around the house and in particular someone who has experience with horses and riding. A person who appreciates the outdoors and enjoys bushwalking . The person would like gardening and happy to be in a property that is very private. It’s physical help so if you have not experience with outside tasks it might be difficult for you

  Hébergement

  The accomodation is a modern private apartment on the property that has a lounge and kitchen and wonderful views. We will share meals but if they want to do their own thing sometimes and have space that’s fine too.
  There is also a washing machine for personal use
  Definitely no smoking

  Autres infos...

  For their time off they can explore Sydney and surrounding areas. We have a great public transport system and I can drop them off and pick them up.
