Description
Welcome to our life on a German campground right between the woods & fields a little outside of town! Me & my 1-year old daughter live in a tiny (not so tiny) house on a german campground. Not many people are familiar with this concept of living so let me tell you :) We're a community of ~50 people living here, including my mom, grandparents and best friends! In summer there's also the travellers/ campers coming through of course, so there's always a lot going on during the warm months! It's very multigenerational and life here feels very different & slower than in the villages and towns surrounding us. There's always something to do on the campground, people to chat with or events to be a part of. The supermarket & bakery are just around the corner. If you have a pet you are most welcome to bring it!

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Life on the campground is very unique and with all the many different people living here, there's many different things to learn from each other. I'm especially happy for my daughter to get in touch with other cultures, in her first year we spent 4 months in Thailand and I'd love to keep the cultural exchange alive. Also, I raise her bilingual, so it's a plus if you can speak english with her.
Aide
Help with my garden, cook/prep vegan meals for me & my daughter, basic household tasks (cleanup after cooking with me), playtime with my daughter, decluttering our garage or barn, joining in fun events in the neighborhood (summer parties, movie nights,..).
There's literally always something fun to do in our life on the campground and you can pick whatever makes you happy and suits your strengths best!Langues

There's a 70s style camper in my garden that holds a bed, closet, table & basic kitchenware (water cooker, gas stovetop, mini fridge). My house is 5 meters away and you're welcome to always come in for meals or bathroom needs. If you want more privacy you can additionally use the toilets and showers in the main building on the campground that are open 24/7. In the summer we'll spend most of our time outside anyhow.
Autres infos...
The town of Homberg is 10 minutes away by foot and anything you could need, you can get there. We have a beautiful castle, some restaurants and lovely hiking routes. However it is a small town and you won't find the "bear stepping" here (german saying meaning there's not much going on). The student towns Marburg or Gießen are ~30 minutes away and I'm happy to share my car with you or give you a ride to the next train station.
