Description
We are a Swiss couple, Agnes and Beatrice, soon to be 60 years old, and are living on this beautiful island, São Miguel, since 13 years.
Our property is located in Ajuda da Bretanha, a little village, in the north-west of the island with direct sea view.
We rent 2 bungalows and 1 apartment on our 6'500m2 property.
Everything grows here, especially the weeds.
So we would be grateful for help, mainly weeding to prepare the garden for vegetable sowing.
In addition, we would like to plant more fruit trees and help would be great for that as well.
We provide a bungalow for our helpers. They have to cook and keep the cottage clean themselves.
We envisage working hours of 4 hours / 5 days a week.
We are open for a dinner together every now and then.
It is important to us that our helpers love animals and accept that our 2 dogs are also with us at work.

Simon spent six weeks with us. His main tasks were gardening works as weeding, digging etc. Further he often had to take care to our dogs.
We learned to know him as a willing, interested and good worker. He's polite, always on time and keen to do something. Not to forget his good cooking...

This is for sure one of the best places who can imagine: Ispent six weeks at this place. Agnes and Breatice are very kind, provide excellent food and accomodation. The work is definitively not too hard and you have a lot chances to explore the island with them or on your own.

Agata spent three weeks in our house. From the first day on she was a big help for us. She finished her works, even when we said, that's finishing time. Painting she did really exactly and without letting any color stain on the floor. Also she was very nice with our guests and friends - and also with us - everybody loved her. We enjoyed the time

First of all I'd like to thank you your hospitality and kindness. I had such a great time on that beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Despite the not-always-nice weather had seen almost the whole island thanks to you taking us by car almost everywhere. Travel by bus is a bit difficult from the house but one can always walk!

Nelly stood for 18 days in our house and from the beginning she was a great help! She saw, what's to do and made it perfect. Kitchen-cleaning, clean dishes after dinner, cleaning the house, gardening, conversation with our guests - what ever - she made it by her own, without that we had to ask her to do.
