  Description

  Hello, we run a French cultural immersion program, along with arts workshops, in the Lot region of France, near Cahors, north of Toulouse. My husband and our elementary-aged son do not yet live on the property. They come periodically to visit. We have experienced the workaway program through friends who run a boutique hotel in the south of France. We think this program would be great for cultural exchanges, since that is what we do.

  We run artistic retreats with internationally recognized tutors as well as French cultural programs for one week at a time. We provide a full room and board, tuition, airport transfers, and some excursions around the area for our guests. We can accommodate up to 14 people (13 students and 1 tutor).

  Aide

  We need help with our hospitality business. This includes setting up the breakfast bar in the morning, cleaning the pool, helping with roomkeeping, and interacting with the guests. We provide free accommodation with a private bathroom on the second floor of the private residence. We pay 15 euros per hour, which is over the minimum wage in France for 2026 (12,02 euros). We also include 3 meals a day during the retreat weeks. During the off weeks, we provide access to a fully equipped kitchen.

  Hébergement

  A private room on the second floor with an ensuite bathroom. The room features a king-size bed with a brand new mattress and linens, exposed-beam ceilings, and a skylight. In the picture, the bed is not fully assembled, but it can be assembled in just one hour. There will also be a dresser, two nightstand tables with lamps, a place to hang clothes, and an area rug over the wood floor.
