Olá, bom dia & bem-vindo 🙏
Join us for a summer in the country side of Alentejo. Starting June 23rd until August 22nd.
Please do read carefully all the information below so I am sure to have passed on everything important.
I'm offering a kind of special arrangement, with the blessing of my host. I'm house sitting here for the summer, and I am looking for someone who would like to share the house with me and my daughter of 2,5years.
Our dream guest would be another single parent with a toddler (or older child) - so we can support each other in our every day chaos 😉
We live very simple, we will share the kitchen and bathroom, you will have your own bed room - or space to park your Van/Bus...
"tasks" would be mainly childcare or let's call it spending time with my daughter. We share the household & cleaning, sharing meals would be great. We like to have sort of a regular routine, with exceptions for days on the market or at the beach..
There is also weeding to be done but that's not a must.
If you teach us some Portuguese that would also be welcome!!
Especially since this is not my property, I am expecting you to be respectful of the space.
No smoking 🙏
There is a yogaroom to use for meditation, Yoga, or playing.
There is a river you can dip in to cool down.
Santa Clara village with a small shop small gas station is about 3km away.

As written above, it's mainly about sharing care-taking time - in the best case of your child and mine.

Or also without children, it will be childcare, and if you want some weeding to be done, some hands on digging out brambles 😉
I am expecting you to have a healthy and loving attitude, our children are exactly right the way they are and we can accompany them and guide them if needed 💚

Hébergement
You will have your own bed room in the house. We share bathroom and kitchen, a small 'living room' and there's is a shaded outside area to sit and enjoy meals.
We eat vegan plus eggs and honey, so no meat and dairy are in the house, but you're free to bring your own, if you feel the need.

there is no public transport other then the train station Saboia-Santa Clara with trains about 3 times a day to Faro/Lisbon.
having your own transport will make it much easier to go to the beach, shopping markets etc - but of course you are also welcome to join me on any trips.

First of all they are both very kind, humble, mature girls that are really interested in helping you out. They kept our house cleaner than we did ourselves and they enjoyed spending time with our daughter who had always a great time with them.
