Ola beautiful people,
We are looking for some nature loving people on our magnificent quinta bordering the magical mystic Dao river in Caldas De Sangemil “central Portugal” 20min from Viseu city.

We have a tentative and sensible approach to permaculture style gardening and are shaping and creating a super sweet fruit candy forest! We can show you what it means for us to live together with nature and create a mindful and abundant harmony with your surroundings.
We feel very blessed to be sharing this place which is full of ancient history, an old watermill, bakery-oven, year-round swimming and splashing in the river, big boulders and small caves...
Being here most probably brings about a mysterious yet delightful feeling of being connected with everything around you and mostly to your inner self.
We are Grim together with my 4 year old and louis our 1st community member. Rupert the dog and McFlory, Funky, and Kerberus our beloved cats and what we aim for is an harmonious life. This is a beautiful journey towards completing more and more circles and restoring our inner and outer eco-systems in a joyful and caring way.

Aide
We will be doing various tasks the daily expected and unexpected things that will need our attention in this natural treasure; like collecting firewood, plant some veggies in the garden
From time to time the garden or one of the fruit trees will demand our loving care or throw us their fruits of abundance... nyum!
Every day we will cook a meal together, with veggies from local markets and the garden!
We’ve arrived about six years ago so most of our time goes to listening to the place, learning a lot from it and from nature and doing the basics.
So a hot shower we have (in case you know how to light a rocket stove ;) and even a private beach and outdoor kitchen with a springy earthen floor and a small solar system to charge your laptop, phone or some small electronics.
If you say yes I like this vibe and I’ve got some hands and muscles to flex, some skill with basic building feel free and welcome to come and join this experience with us!
Everything is still in the start-up phase and that makes this place a total playground to add your personal touch to it. And at the same time this means that there is still a lot we do ourselves. We have a tentative and sensible approach to permaculture style gardening and are shaping and creating a super sweet fruit candy forest!

🎠Accommodation that we can offer:
-a mystic magical place in the hart of nature bordering the Dao river.
-A tent with a big size bad and with lots of blankets and sleeping bags, and a beautiful view!
-An outdoor/indoor kitchen where you can cook on a gas fire with a beautiful terras overviewing the dao river.
-spring drinking water
-good reliable 3G/4G mobile internet (no wifi).
-A small solar system to charge your laptop, cell phone or small electronics!
-composttoilet
-hot wood powered bath and shower installation.
-A magical river with private beaches to swim.
-hot-springs during the summer time that are just a 10 min walk downstream from us 🌋.

As far as you can see, there are hills around us.
With our rubber boat, mandala or unicorn you can paddle up the river and see some really beautiful rock formations.
Just 1,5 km downstream there is a hotspring which is possibly accessible if the river is low enough.
The closest bus stop is about 4 km away and we are happy to pick you up there when you come to the event..
