  Description

  I am French. I have worked as a researcher in Biology in the town of lyon and have now retired in a chalet in Haute Savoie, between Geneva and Chamonix (950m altitude). I speak French and English. I love hicking, climbing, reading, doing pottery, gardening, talking about everything and nothing as well. I lived in California in the eighties and kept from this experience the interest in the others, the best travel you can make.

  I can help you improve your French (I appreciate when one helps me with my English so I know what to do to help you), we can do some pottery together, we can go hiking together and practice some yoga/pilatte.

  Aide

  I would like to speed up a few things I started around my chalet : an alley to go get wood with dry feet in winter, a tiny terrace in front my water tank, prepare the garden for next spring, some pruning, weeding…whatever you like better. We will probably do stuff together. 4h a day is ok. We can do more if you want to take a full day outside.

  I have two spare bedrooms and two bathrooms. The room down stair is large so we feel free. We can cook together, I think I am easy going. I do not smoke, I have no pet.
  Food will be provided as part of the exchange.

  Geneva is 35 km away. I can drive you down to the railroad station. The same for Chamonix in the other direction.
