Long term volunteer preferred
Hello! I'm a single mom living in Valencia, Spain with my amazing 4 year old son, Samuel. I'm American and his father is Spanish, so he is absolutely bilingual. I help run a language center and work most afternoons /early evenings. I need someone dependable to stay with Samu while I am working. Ideally this person loves kids and is bilingual as well (English and Spanish), but as long as you can speak one of the languages that is fine. Samu is a funny, sweet, very clever, active, sometimes naughty, happy little guy. If you like kids, he is a pleasure to be around! I can arrange a schedule with you for the childcare hours so that you can maximize your free time. I work mostly in the afternoons and require someone with experience helping with young children. I would like to find someone for long-term, ideally for the school year. Short-term stays are not an option, as it is not ideal to change caretakers so often. In exchange for 10-15 hours a week, I can offer a fully furnished single bedroom at home. We are happy to show you around Valencia and share some secret Spanish recipes with you too!
