Stay in Nantes and help in the house and garden, France

  Description

  Availability during my holidays from the 17th of August up to the 28th of August 2025 and from the 19th of October to the 3rd of November. I can also consider offers over the Christmas period between the 21st of December and the 6th of January.
  I'm a French high school teacher so I can help you with the French language. Yet I can understand and speak English.
  I live in a flat but I have a private small garden. Your accommodation will be private (bedroom/bathroom and little kitchen for yourself on the second floor of my home). I provide clean bed sheets and towels and every thing needed in a furnished home. Home is located in the city-center but it's very quiet where I live. Public transport is 100 meters away from home.
  As far as work is concerned, I need some help around the house and garden.
  I offer accommodation and breakfast in exchange of 2 hours of work /a day from 10AM to 12AM. Breakfast is served at my home 9:30 but I let you prepare and cook your own meals (lunch and diner). I will prepare mine. Friends will pop in now and then and you will be invited to share moments with us. I like company and can offer you visits of the city and walks along the river. Seaside is only one hour of train from home. I have no car and only use public transport. But there is a garage for your bike or your car if you have any.

  I will be patient to teach you the French language if you wish to.
  I can share my love of books and literature. I'll be interested in your life and culture.

  Aide

  I need help to clean the house and maintain my small garden.
  
  You'll be asked to do tasks around 2 hours per day.
  -Weeding in the very small garden, now and then.
  -Summer cleaning in the house (windows, garage doors...).
  
  You'll be responsible for the cleaning of your own room, bathroom and little kitchen and will leave it clean when you leave home.
  I don't offer long term stays. Ideally, I prefer to accommodate a person for a week at first, and then decide on a longer period of time or not.
  
  You'll be asked to provide a photocopy of your passport when I entrust you the keys of my home.

  It will be possible now and then to share some of my very simple meals.

  I can fetch you from the train station (by public transport, TRAM).
  I'll be delighted to take you to a concert or any cultural event happening here.
  If you enjoy walking, it will be easy for you to do many things since I live in the city center. You might enjoy the city life of Nantes with many cultural events happening here, but also walks along the river. The seaside is an hour train from home. Get ready to do some of the walks on your own as I won't be able to do everything with you.
