Description
I'm a French and English teacher at a vocational school and the mother of a 15 year old boy. We live in a flat but we have a private garden. Our home is located in the city-center but it's very quiet where we live. Public transport is 100 meters away from the house.
I'm very fond of my job and I like to read and listen to classical music. My son loves to speak English and he can also speak Chinese. My son and I were born in Nantes and love the place where we live.

My project for editing an English textbook started last summer.
You'll be asked to read my work in English and correct it. You will need to be patient and creative. Computer skills are welcome. You 'll have to be a native speaker of English with a good command of English grammar and syntax.
You'll be asked to work around 4 hours per day.
You might also come to my school to help pupils with English conversation. A powerpoint presentation on some cultural aspects of your country would be welcome.
You'll be responsible for the cleaning of your own room and bathroom and will keep the kitchen clean after your meals.
We don't offer long term stays. Ideally, we prefer to accomodate a person for 5 days at first, and then decide on a longer period of time or not.
You'll be asked to provide a photocopy of your passport when we entrust you the keys of your room and bathroom.

I'm now a high school French teacher but have taught French as a foreign language in the past. I've a deep interest in foreign languages.
Hébergement
You'll have your own (simple) bedroom and bathroom.
You'll have your independent entry to the house and garden.
Coffee and tea facilities in your bedroom.
Non-smoking bedroom and flat.
Limited access to the family kitchen and dining-room at lunch and diner time.
It will be possible to share some of our simple family meals.

I enjoy cooking, hope you won't be afraid!
We'll be delighted to take you to a concert or any cultural event happening here.
If you enjoy walking, it will be easy for you to do many things since we live in the city-center. You might enjoy the city life of Nantes with many cultural events happening here, but also walks along the river. The seaside is an hour drive from home.
