  Live for free in a tiny house at the edge of the forest in Bad Bentheim, near the Bentheimer Klippen (Bentheim Cliffs), in exchange for helping out in the garden – available immediately!

  I am offering a cozy, fully furnished, and well-equipped tiny house on my property in Bad Bentheim.
  
  As I currently need some help with gardening, I am looking for a motivated person who enjoys this kind of help; in exchange, you can live here rent-free.
  
  I live here with my large dog, two small Chihuahuas, and a cat. You should therefore be an animal lover and not be afraid of large dogs.
  
  Interaction & Community: I look forward to pleasant conversations and a friendly atmosphere on the property - while, of course, always respecting each other’s privacy.
  
  Accommodation & Meals (Important): The tiny house is move-in ready, compact, and perfectly suited for one person. You will have your own private space, including a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom. You are entirely responsible for your own meals—meaning you do your own grocery shopping and cooking. While we are certainly welcome to share a meal now and then, the expectation is that you take care of your own daily needs.
  
  Working Hours: Approximately 2–3 hours per day, 5 days a week. We can be flexible with the schedule, ensuring you have plenty of free time to explore the castle and the natural surroundings of Bad Bentheim.
  
  Duration & Start Date: I am looking for someone to start immediately. Initially, I am looking for someone for about 2 to 4 weeks to see how things go with a "workawayer"...

  • Language challenge! My English is a bit rusty, and I’d love to brush it up.
  • Socializing: We’re happy to cook, eat, or go for walks together...
  • Discover Bad Bentheim & nature: Our town is a beautiful, historic spa town. In your free time, you can visit the famous Bentheim Castle, relax at the local thermal mineral baths, or explore the unique moorland landscapes.
  • Beautiful lakes & cross-border excursions: There are lovely lakes nearby that are perfect for picturesque walks—plus, the Netherlands is just around the corner, making it easy to pop across the border for a quick visit!

  Enjoyment and fun in gardening, even when the sun isn’t shining.
  
  The tasks involve sweeping up autumn leaves, clearing overgrown garden beds that have been encroached upon by the lawn, and weeding the pathways. It’s all about making the garden look beautiful again and getting it ready for winter.
  
  If you and Connor hit it off, you are welcome to take him for walks—but it has to feel right for both of you. If it’s a good match, great; if not, that’s perfectly fine too. Helping with pet care is entirely optional—it’s by no means a requirement!

  You will stay in your own private tiny house, located right on the premises! It offers you complete privacy and independence after your workday.
  The tiny house is fully equipped—it has everything you need:
  
  • A private, fully functional kitchen (where you can store groceries and prepare your own meals)
  • A private bathroom with a toilet
  • A comfortable sleeping area
  • A cozy living area for relaxation
  
  Please note: Since you are staying in your own house with a private kitchen, you are responsible for your own meals (purchasing groceries and cooking for yourself). In recognition of this independence and self-sufficiency, your daily working hours are reduced accordingly.

  Bad Bentheim is a charming, refined spa town. The nearest bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away. Many vacationers come here to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere, a trip to Enschede in the Netherlands would be a great option for you. You are also welcome to use my car to get around, provided you show a valid driver’s license.
