You will benefit by being taught how to surf. We will provide you with surf equipment to use and one of us (all qualified surf instructors) will teach and coach you (by joining in on lessons). Surfing in Jbay is amazing, you will learn lots about the ocean, its beaches and the surfing community. You will learn to be part of a nice local team that hosts some international guests. All the skills involved in running a lodge.
Aide
Are you handy with tools and passionate about maintaining a beautiful environment? We're seeking someone to join our team for maintenance work at our stunning surf lodge in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. As a vital member of our crew, you'll spend 5 hours a day, 5 days a week ensuring our wooden house remains a sanctuary for our guests, protecting it from the elements of salt water, sun, and sand.
Your responsibilities will include tasks such as shining brass, tightening screws, painting, and handling various tools like sanders and drills. We need someone who can take initiative to tackle projects independently while staying within our aesthetic vision and budget constraints.
In return, you'll enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of our lodge and the opportunity to be part of a passionate team. Plus, you'll have the flexibility of varying work hours depending on our lodge's occupancy. On busy days, we may need you for 6 hours, while quieter days may only require 2 hours of your time. Additionally, for every 5 days worked, you'll receive 2 full day off to relax and explore the beauty of Jeffreys Bay.
