  Description

  Hi! My name is Tudor and I live in Bucharest, Romania.
  
  I work a regular Monday–Friday office job and enjoy spending my free time outdoors. I love hiking, trail running, exploring nature, traveling and staying active.
  
  One very important member of my family is Kaya, my young Australian Shepherd. She is energetic, intelligent and incredibly friendly. She loves meeting new people and is happiest when she gets plenty of exercise and attention.
  
  I'm looking for someone responsible who enjoys dogs and would like to experience everyday life in Romania rather than staying in a tourist hostel.
  
  I speak English well and I'm always happy to recommend places to visit, restaurants, mountain trips or hidden gems around Bucharest.
  
  One of the reasons I joined Workaway is because I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different cultures and hearing their stories. I hope that hosting will be a two-way experience where we can learn from each other, share ideas, and maybe even become friends.
  
  I don't expect anyone to simply "work for me." I'd like you to feel comfortable in my home and become part of my daily life while you're here. We'll share meals when possible, chat about our cultures, and if you're interested, you're welcome to join me and Kaya on walks, hikes, weekend trips to the mountains, or explore Bucharest together.
  
  I can introduce you to Romanian culture, food, local traditions, and many beautiful places that most tourists never get to see. If you enjoy the outdoors, I'd be happy to show you some of my favorite hiking trails in the Carpathian Mountains, as well as recommend hidden gems around the country.
  
  Professionally, I work in the creative industry as a game artist and have many years of experience in digital design. If you're interested, I'm always happy to share what I know about digital art, creativity, design, AI tools, or building creative projects.
  
  In return, I hope to learn about your culture, your experiences, your language, and your perspective on life. I believe every traveler has a unique story, and that's one of the things I'm looking forward to most about hosting through Workaway.

  If you enjoy nature and an active lifestyle, you're more than welcome to join me and Kaya on some of our weekend adventures. We often go hiking, trail running, or exploring some of Romania's most beautiful mountain areas.
  
  Some of our favorite destinations include the Bucegi Mountains, Piatra Craiului National Park, and the Făgăraș Mountains, as well as charming towns like Sinaia and Brașov.
  
  It's completely optional, but if you'd like to experience Romania beyond Bucharest, we'd be happy to have you along. It's a great way to see the country through the eyes of a local while spending time outdoors with an energetic and friendly Australian Shepherd.
  
  What you should know about Kaya:
  
  She is a young Australian Shepherd.
  
  She's extremely friendly, playful and loves long walks, fetch and meeting people.
  
  She is well trained, affectionate and loves being around humans.
  
  If you enjoy dogs, you'll probably fall in love with her.
  
  In this regard, I'm looking for someone who:
  
  • genuinely likes dogs
  • is clean and organized
  • is reliable
  • communicates openly
  • enjoys an active lifestyle

  Aide

  I'm mainly looking for help with everyday tasks, not heavy work.
  
  Typical tasks include:
  
  • Walking Kaya twice a day
  • Playing with her in the park
  • Light cleaning around the apartment
  • Occasionally doing grocery shopping
  • Watering plants if needed
  • Keeping the apartment tidy

  Hébergement

  You'll have your own private room with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi and access to the entire apartment.
  The apartment is located in Bucharest with easy access to public transport, supermarkets, parks and cafés.
  
  As I work full-time during the week, I don't usually have much time to cook every day. Because of that, I won't always be able to prepare shared meals myself.
  
  However, I will make sure you have everything you need for three meals a day. I'll provide groceries and keep the kitchen well stocked, and you're welcome to cook whatever you like and make yourself feel at home. If there are any foods you particularly enjoy or dietary requirements you have, I'll do my best to accommodate them.
  
  I actually enjoy cooking together when time allows, especially on weekends, and I'd love to learn some of your favorite recipes from your home country. If you enjoy cooking, I'd be happy to share meals together, but it's never an expectation or part of your responsibilities as a Workawayer.
  
  If we go on weekend trips or hikes together, we'll often grab food along the way or cook together if it fits our plans.
