2020 PREVIEW OF ACTIVITIES ON OUR FARM!!!
This year will bring lots of changes and novelties to our Farm and we are really looking forward to sharing these experiences with all the enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers out there!!
from January to the end of April: building with wood, caring for our gardens & keep our woodland healthy!
We'll need help with building some wooden bungalow, terraces, fences etc.; with general gardening, trimming, making dry-stone walls; with cleaning the underwood and chopping wood for our heating :-) Anyone interested in helping us clear areas of overgrown woodland and keep a healthy underwood of the already clean areas do get in touch ASAP!!!

from April to end of June: help us with set up and nurture our vegetable gardens !!!
We'll need help in preparing the land, setting up the allotments and sewing the seeds of what will become our summer vegetable gardens!

from mid May to mid June: our roses will bloom!!!
Anyone interested in experiencing the ROSE PETAL HARVEST do get in touch ASAP!!!
With the petals we pick we will make rose syrup and rose jam as well as other tasty food like our Rosioli (rose petal and ricotta cheese ravioli) :-)

Furthermore, we are always looking for volunteers willing to give a hand especially with fruit and vegetable gathering and wooden house building!!
Our center is the ideal place for the type of people and tourism that is at one with nature.
Set in a rural park that has been reclaimed from general decay thanks to natural architecture and Feng Shui, we are situated at 515 m a.s.l., just 30mins way from both the Chiavari coast and the mountains of Santo Stefano d'Aveto.
Embracing 25 hectares of woodland, our organic farm has pastures, vegetable gardens, fruit orchards and farm animals such as the donkey Taddeo, the peacocks Gastone and Lady, the dogs Zend and Wendy, the cats Caramella and Calimero, a full hen house with chickens, ducks and geese, and a herd of semi-wild pigs.
We pay constant attention to Nature and Wellbeing and are part of the WWF and Responsible Tourism networks. We offer genuine top quality products, eco-sustainable holidays, personal development seminars, as well as intercultural and traditional events, and we host Workawayers who want to experience working with others in nature, with respect for each others' different points of view.
In our Holistic Wellness farm you will find also the the People's University, specialized in non-formal and experiential education, so we give the opportunity to do a traineeship for students from all over the world and Erasmus students. If you are interested, in exchange for payment, you can receive a written declaration of your experience.
We ask all those who want to contribute to our project to come for a minimum period of 2 weeks, as
experience has taught us that this is minimum period necessary for both our place and volunteers to gain the most from our experience together.

Travellers benefit from the contact with the italian culture and reality. First of all they will be able to taste different types of bio products of the italian biodiversity. During the team work they will also have the chance to achieve relational competences and manage goal-oriented jobs, discover their abilities and their weaknesses.
Aide
Workawayers will be able to experiment agricultural techniques like organic farming permaculture, natural agriculture; they will learn about sewing, picking, making compost, cleaning the woodland, building, cooking and doing general maintenance to the eco-village and agritourism.
During the year our main harvests are apples, chestnuts, olives, tomatoes, elderflower and elderberry, rosehip, rose petals, apples and pears …

Hébergement
During winter Workawayers are lodged in wooden bungalows of the eco-village, while during summer we host them in the tents of our campsite. All types of lodging are shared and linen, towels, pillows and duvets are provided by the centre.

We are situated just 30 minutes away form both seaside and mountains and you can trravel to and from it by both public or private transport.
The natural and historical attractions at hand that you will be able to visit are:
Cinque Terre, Portofino, Sestri Levante, Chiavari, Santa Margherita Ligure; Santo Stefano d'Aveto, l'Abbazia di Borzone, il Volto Megalitico; l'Acquario di Genova.
Founded in 2005, a school of oriental disciplines like Yoga, Tai Ji Chuan, Qi Gong, Kenjitsu and meditation, as well as personal development and human evolution in general, its instructors offer personal or group lessons of oriental disciplines and of italian language.
