  Description

  Hi, my name is Aleksandra. My husband and I are looking for help with a very exciting project on a small island, Inis Mór, on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. The island of Inis Mór (Inishmore) means “the big island” and is one of the three Aran Islands. It is a place of natural beauty with a unique landscape, a small population, and is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. The island itself has the true feel of an isolated fishing village. The locals speak Irish Gaelic among themselves, but they happily speak English with visitors. Life on the island is simple, with only one shop, far from the stress of big cities. We love it!

  We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative scuba underwater photographer, ready to join us for our Aran Islands Underwater Photography Project on the remote Irish island of Inishmore on the Atlantic Ocean. Underwater photography has the power to show people who have never experienced the marine environment for themselves the wonders of that amazing world and helps educate people on the value of conserving it for future generations. Because most people do not get under the water, we felt it is important to show the beauty of underwater Aran Islands. This photography project is for conservation and educational purpose.

  REQUIREMENTS:
  • Communicative English
  • Over 21 years of age
  • Experienced diver with excellent underwater photography skills
  • You need to have your own 7mm wetsuit and full scuba gear (excl. tank and weights), underwater camera, computer with editing software
