Help my family with projects and daily life in the beautiful Carcassonne, France

  Description

  Hello beautiful people ! I am Nadia , a busy mother of 3 children (age 16,14 and 9).
  
  I live in a beautiful place in the foothills of the pyrenees sins amost 6 years and I am loving it . There is a really nice community of people around here and cool events in the summer, they are amazing walks in the mountains, nice lakes and rivers to swim , caving and climbing spots , hot springs..
  
  I would enjoy showing you around in the weekend when i can , it will give me the motivation to get out of my very busy bee life (I might need a quick to do so , and that will be one of your jobs 😁) I also like to go out partying sometimes when my children allow it !!
  
  My main projects at the moment are : a bread and pizza activity that I run a few days a week in a old stone building I renewed and where I built a fire oven in the center of the village, it is becoming a sweet social place and it really gives me joy to go on with this project and bring people together around a pizza and a local beer . My goal is to use the maximums of local and organic ingredients and it is going in a good direction already as there is a big movement of organic and short circuit farmers in the area . The oven place is still rudimentary and needs some work to be 100% efficient .
  
  I did most of the rebuilt myself as I am a handy person and even trough I don't have all the skills I believe I can learn them , like anyone else , even jobs that are considered to be more masculine , but I admit it isn't always as easy as it sounds :)
  
  Another project is to move to a old house I bought some time ago in a sweet little hamlet about 2 km from my actual house (which I am renting) , to do so I need to build a kitchen and the floor of the living area using mostly eco materials.
  
  I make Tipis and other canvas structures to sale and rend too , so sometimes , if I have an order , I will just be sitting at my industrial sewing machine for hours !
  
  I have 2 dogs and 1 cat , and 3 children with whom I need to spend time , wash laundry, cook ,help with homework ..
  
  At the moment the main tasks I need help with are ; wood work and construction work , my current projects are ; building a wooden dry toilet for the pizzeria , cleaning and placing earth floor tiles and finishing the wooden kitchen , building a stone wall in the garden .. but also sometimes ; cooking, and cleaning at home and doing little jobs around the house , walking the dogs .. Sometimes we might go to someone's farm to give a hand there .
  I am not familiar with organising work for others as I am used to do my stuff on my own , but I will do my best !
  I hope we can keep communication open and be honest with our needs . I appreciate a good company and i am curious to learn new stuff, hear about peoples stories and experiences, cultural exchanges but I also really like, and need, my private space . I love trying all kinds of food , I am not vegetarian and eat meat, fish or animal protein every day.
  I try to avoid unhealthy food , like sugar , refined oils and cereals so we usually don't have them at home , or just occasionally.
  I will provide 2 healthy meals per day and ingredients for breakfast. Mostly organic and as local as possible:)
  If you want any snacks , (fruits,etc.) in between you will have to provide them yourself .
  If you are intolerant to any food let me know and we will be sure they won't be used in the meals (gluten is mostly banned in the house already 🙂 ) .
  If you don't eat animal products this is not a place for you .

  Hébergement

  I provide a room in the house . Possible to find a place by the riverside for a camping or campervan . A project of setting up a 5m yurt (which I own) is there , just need to find the time (and help )..

  There is a very animated market every Sunday in a village close by were you can meet a lot of nice people and buy extra food you might want.
  
  They are supermarkets not fare were I do my shopping and buses to the city of carcassonne and Toulouse.
