Animal lovers only!!! Rescue animals and live in the central Algarve in Lagoa, Portugal

  Description

  We live on a Quinta in the central Algarve, Portugal. We have some land that came with our property and so we have some rescue animals - donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs. We have lots of farm tasks to do everyday and animals to feed.plus some extra thing we’d love, like a new chicken coop, new hay through, etc . We are a busy family of 4, Mum, Dad and two teenage boys. We all speak English here at home. We are learning Portuguese. I speak Spanish and some Portuguese, Children are studying Portuguese and French . It is a family home with two adults, two children and lots of animals, no business here.

  We live 5 minutes from the beach, and we have a pool to enjoy. It will seem like we are in the middle of the countryside, but we are 7 minutes from the nearest town and also from many lovely restaurants, and popular tourist spots, like the sea caves, beautiful clifftop walks as well as the mountains of Monchique.We’re are open to any nationalities and welcome learning about any new cultures we have not experienced.
  
  Also, Kayaking, hiking, travelling around Portugal.

  Aide

  We’d like someone/couple that can muck in and help with anything and everything!
  Farm tasks, mucking out stables, feeding animals, dog walks, tidying, help with housework.
  Anyone with good DIY skills/woodwork would be very helpful.
  Any teaching/language skills are a bonus.
  Helpful if you can drive/have a car.

  Hébergement

  We have a wooden lodge that can be offered with sole occupancy. The room has its own external entrance, en suite bathroom with hot water shower. It has a kitchen next door in the lodge. The lodge is also used for guests when they come to stay, which is only occasional. Will provide Shopping for you, you will have your own kitchen

  We will ask a few hours of help a day. Most helpful would be first thing in the morning, and early evening, with animal feeds, etc. It can easily work around a job.

  We have a plot that can be used for a caravan/camper, but it is a bit sloped. Will need ramps to level out. There is also a small kitchen and showers room with water all available to connect to, plus electricity.
