Keywords: beautiful and ancient flower meadow, old farm, self-sufficiency, organic farming, ecology, biodiversity.
Here at Fagerli Naturgård you will enjoy a beautiful ancient flower-meadow and old natural pastureland with enormous rich biodiversity where many endangered species thrive! I am a running a small nature-farm on the peninsula Fosen, close by the city of Trondheim. I have a small herd of old Norwegian sheep, growing vegetables and fruit, picking wild mushrooms and berries, fishing trout.
The old farm, Fagerli Naturgård, is all about taking care of and stimulating biodiversity. There is a very old and beautiful flower meadow and pasture . Its a very ancient cultural landscape that needs love and maintenance. Something I really love to have some help with. since my back cant handle it all together anymore (had some injurie).
You will life and work surrounded by beautiful nature, forests, lakes in the area.Taking care and helping wild pollinators and all the other species living here. Nice hiking-terrain , old farmhouse and barn.
I am educated in biology and archaeology, survival skills, ethno-botanics, old crafts. So there will be many possibilities to learn something you might be interested in.
I monitor wild pollinators on the peninsula for a nature-surveillance program, give courses and lectures on bumblebees and biodiversity and sometimes guide groups around on my farm. I am an author of children books as well.
My children visit me every other week-girl and a boy-both lovely and kind teenagers.
I was born in the Netherlands but have been living in Norway for 30 years. Have been living and working all in the north for many years, but also on the westcoast.
I consider myself an easy going, free-spirit, kind and caring, open-minded and creative person. Social but also need for time alone.
The farm is situated close to the small town of Vanvikan, where there is a shop and harbor for the catamaran that transports people to the city of Trondheim. Only 25 minutes away. Trondheim can be reached by train , buss and plane. Or by catamarans, ferries and cruiseships that move along the norwegian coastline.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Learning about Norwegian culture by "hands-on" and "learning by doing" experiences. I am both educated in biology and archaeology, survival skills, ethno-botanics, old crafts. So there will be many possibilities to learn something you might be interested in. Hopefully we will be able to exchange our cultural experiences and values and learn from each other. The city of Trondheim is really close by. Harbour short walk away where boat will take you to the city. Many hiking-possibilities , you can borrow ultralight-backpacking-equipment from me for easy hikes and overnight trips in the area.
Aide
You will be helping out on the smallfarm with many different kind of projects: traditional building and restoring, maintaining fences, vegetable-garden-tasks; planting/weeding, taking care of the sheep/lambs, producing firewood, mowing with scythe. I will sometimes help together and share skills if you wish.
