  Dear Volunteer|s,
  
  The two of us, Steph and Shammi, just moved to Goa from Phnom Penh (we hosted there with Workaway too). Raj is from India and lived in NYC for 7 years. Steph is from Austria and lived in several countries including NYC where and when the love story began. This time we are not only starting a new adventure by setting up in Goa, but also starting a creative social business.
  
  Our project is a tech-art space to experience interactive, multi-sensory entertainment in India. Imagine a convergence of transformational festivals and tech-art museums. Our mission is to offer entertaining experiences that leave people with a sense of awe and inspiration. Visitors’ are led through the museum following a non-linear story-telling approach. The museum will be complemented with workshops & talks (STEAM), a niche tech product fair, related events & performances and an F&B area focused on taste hacking. This is a totally new concept in India and we would like to introduce the space with a bang.
  
  We have set up an amazing location in the heart of North Goa (700 sqm inside, 1200 sqm outside) and filed it with art installations, and much more. We opened doors for public in November 2019. There is still loads to do and we are looking to reinforce our team here in Goa with additional talent, skills and energy as there cannot be enough creative ways of exploring the space, murals, additional tech.art installations, etc. This is where you come into picture.
  
  We are a team of experienced professionals (10-35 years) who decided to change their path and start-up this unique project in various areas. We would certainly inspire inter-disciplinary learning, sharing and collaboration, depending on your interests.
  
  We are really excited and looking forward to add your talent to our local team to make it happen.

  This workaway is unique experience if you are looking into contributing to a new tech-art movement here in India and create awesomeness. A place for curios and creative minds. We are learning a lot ourselves and journey is going to be beautiful with like minded people. Of course, we will put you in touch with the local network we have, including the local and international artists, engineers and others we work with.
  
  Also, we are happy to connect you with the different communities and give ideas about events and interesting stuff to do around here in North Goa. Shammi, as Indian, can also share thoughts to help you get into the culture here deeper.
  
  At the location, we will provide an Indian style community meals .
  
  In case you end up staying longer, we will also give you a complete, professional reference letter after completion for any potential future employer.

  Aide

  Our work areas are
  - Creative coding (experience in Java Script, C, C++ to link with Arduino or Rasberry Pi) to contribute to the tech part in the installations
  - IT systems and architecture support (LAN, MQTT)
  - Communications and Marketing, strong focus on social media and local B2B marketing (e.g. hotels, agencies)., WordPress expertise is very welcome too.
  - Documentation and content creation (video, animation, AI generated content, etc.)
  - Visual Art and installation artist
  - Building of interactive installations, interior decoration and spaces and furniture (this includes hands-on building, welding, wood work, electrics, up-cycling)
  - Start-up management, partnership building, administrative support
  
  If you have any other ideas or skills that you think compliment the process of building the space, reach out to us.

  You will be guest at ours or one of different artists around the space. Based on your availability on time of you arrival.
  You will have the luxury to have room for yourself.
  Get in touch with us and we will find a way to make your stay really fun, valuable and also comfy :) Don't worry, we will share details on accommodation and photos before you confirm so that you can check for yourself what works for you.

  We are near Lady of Miracles Church Badem and there is plenty to do around this part of town in Goa. We and the others forming part of the Collective will do our best to give you an unforgettable time here :)
