Description
Hello! I grew up in the beautiful town of Guanajuato and renovated my fathers house a couple of years ago with the help of a dozen fantastic workawayers. Since then it's being run as a bnb, renting out the house by rooms. Currently I am looking for helping hands with maintenance work. The tasks will vary like gardening, cleaning, basic maintenance and painting could be asked. Ideally you have experience in plastering and painting walls and laying tiles.
The tasks are all relatively easy but I need serious people since I'm operating a business that is rated throught reviews and comments.
All your ideas will be taken into account. If you have a skillful experience (hospitality, tourism, art, photography, filmmaking, social media, marketing, interior design, gardening, building) that´s all a plus since there's always something I´m looking to improve.
I´m looking for a single volunteer but couples with helpful experience are also welcome. Minimum stay is a week and I´ll be happy to host you up until one month.
You would get your own room and share bathrooms and kitchen with the bnb guests.
Guanajuato is the cultural capital of Mexico and it's also a university town so it's full of young people, with lots of music and cultural events all year round. Being a mountain town, we are surrounded by beautiful nature with lots of hiking and beautiful points of view.

I´m sure you´ll benefit from this cultural exchange as my co-host and I can introduce you to mexican friends to practice your spanish with and get a deeper understanding and appreciation for the culture. It´s a university town where you can participate in language exchange.
