  Hi! We're a young family with a wonderful boy and girl. We live in Zamora, a small but beautiful city, an hour by train from Madrid and right next to Portugal. We'd love to share our daily life with someone who can help us with household tasks and childcare. We'd like you to have at least a C1 level of English. We think it's important for the children to see that there are people who speak English, not just the cartoon characters from Paw Patrol! We can help you experience living in another country, learn about the culture, and improve your Spanish. My wife and I speak English, we've lived in the UK, and my wife was an au pair.   Hola! Somos una familia joven con un niño y una niña riquísimos. Vivimos en Zamora, una ciudad pequeña pero muy bonita. A una hora en tren de Madrid. Y al lado de Portugal.
  Nos gustaría compartir nuestro día a día con alguien que pueda ayudarnos con las tareas de la casa y los niños. Queremos que tengas un nivel de inglés al menos de C1. Nos parece importante que los niños vean que hay gente que habla inglés, no solo los dibujos de la patrulla canina!.
  Nosotros podemos ayudarte a tener la experiencia de vivir en otro país, conocer la cultura, mejorar tu nivel de español.
  Mi mujer y yo hablamos inglés, hemos vivido en UK, y mi mujer fue au pair.

  We are both teachers: my wife teaches English, and I am an educational advisor. So we can help you with your Spanish learning. We enjoy spending time at home playing with the children, cooking, relaxing, or watching TV. We also go out daily to the park or to relatives' houses with gardens. When there are cultural activities that interest us, we participate in them, such as theater, movies, exhibitions, concerts, sports, or walks along the river or in the Valorio forest. This year, all four of us became members of the city's football team. Zamora is a small city but with a very pleasant atmosphere. It's home to a branch of the University of Salamanca, so there's a lively young crowd. We like the idea of having you join us because we believe it will be a good experience for everyone. It will help us see life in a different way and expose us to a richer cultural environment.
  
  Somos los dos profesores, mi mujer de inglés y yo orientador educativo. Así que podemos ayudarte con el aprendizaje del español.
  Nos gusta estar en casa jugando con los niños, cocinando, descansando o viendo alguna serie en la televisión. Y también salimos en el día a día al parque, o casa de familiares que tienen jardín. Cuando hay actividades culturales que nos apetecen participamos de ellas, como el teatro, el cine, exposiciones, conciertos, deportes, o pasear por el rio o el bosque de Valorio. Este año nos hemos hecho socios los 4 de el equipo de futbol de la ciudad.
  Zamora es una ciudad pequeña pero con un ambiente muy agradable para vivir. Tiene sede de la universidad de Salamanca, asi que hay ambiente de gente joven.
  Nos gusta la idea de contar contigo porque creemos que es una experiencia buena para todos, nos ayudará a ver la vida de otra manera, y nos acercará a un ambiente cultural más rico

  Aide

  We would appreciate help with the day-to-day running of the house. Tasks such as light cleaning, grocery shopping, or cooking. Regarding the children, we love being with them. In the mornings they go to school, have lunch at home, and then in the afternoons we spend time with them at the park, at home, or we take them to an activity. We would really appreciate some help with this arrangement, such as watching them if we have errands or chores to run, accompanying them to an activity, or simply joining us at the park for a snack. Sevi, the father, coaches 4-year-olds in futsal on Monday afternoons. If you're interested, you're welcome to join in too. Currently, Patricia, the mother, is studying for competitive exams, so she will be home in the mornings. We think this will help you with your language learning, allow you to socialize, and get to know the culture. You'll also have time for your own projects and interests.
  
  Nos gustaría contar con ayuda para el dia a día de la casa. Tareas como limpieza, hacer la compra o cocinar.
  En relación a los niños, a nosotros nos encanta estar con ellos. Por la mañana van al colegio , comen en casa, y luego por la tarde la pasamos con ellos en el parque, en casa, o les llevamos a alguna actividad. Nos vendria bien una mano para esta organización, como por ejemplo quedarse con ellos si tenemos que hacer alguna tarea o recado, acompañarlos a alguna actividad, o simplemente venirte con nosotros al parque y tomar algo.
  Sevi, el padre, entrena futbol sala a niños de 4 años los lunes por la tarde. si te gusta, puedes participar también.
  Actualmente, Patricia, la madre, está estudiando para preparar unas oposiciones, así que estará en la casa por las mañanas.
  Pensamos que esto te ayudará con el aprendizaje del idioma, te permitirá socializar y conocer la cultura.
  Tendrás tiempo para tus propios proyectos e inquietudes

  Los dos somos profesores, tenemos un nivel C1 de inglés, y nos gusta la enseñanza. Además, con dos niños de 4 y 3 años, el idioma se aprende mucho más rápido porque ¡no callan! hahahaha

  Hébergement

  We like to keep the house as clean and tidy as possible. We live in the city center, and you can walk everywhere. It would also be possible to keep a bicycle in the garage if you prefer to get around by bike. Our house has five bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. You'll have a large bedroom to yourself, with a spacious wardrobe and a comfortable bed. We like to eat all together whenever possible, because this year I work far from home and get back later. So, usually, I would eat with Patricia and the children. We also have dinner together, and some days we eat out, for example, on Fridays or Saturdays, and we also go to family's house for dinner frequently. We like all kinds of food and would prefer someone who isn't vegetarian or vegan because we think it might make things more difficult.
  
  Nos gusta mantener la casa limpia y ordenada dentro de lo que se puede. Vivimos en el centro de la ciudad, y se puede ir caminando a todas partes. También sería posible tener una bicicleta en el garaje si prefieres moverte en bici.
  
  Nuestra casa tiene 5 habitaciones, un salón, una cocina, y un baño. Tendrás una habitación grande para ti, con un armario amplio y una cama cómoda.
  
  Nos gusta comer todos juntos siempre que se puede, porque yo este curso trabajo lejos de casa y llego más tarde. Así que lo habitual sería comer con Patricia y los niños. Las cenas también las hacemos juntos, y algunos días cenamos fuera de casa, por ejemplo los viernes o sábados, y también vamos a casa de la familia a cenar con frecuencia. Nos gusta todo tipo de comidas y preferimos alguien que no sea vegetariano o vegano porque creemos que quiza dificultaría esta gestión.

  In your free time, you could study Spanish at the official language school. You could also practice sports or activities you enjoy, continue your online studies, and explore the surrounding area, both near and far. For example, you could travel on weekends by bus or train to nearby towns like Salamanca, Valladolid, Puebla de Sanabria, and Béjar, or even visit Gijón in northern Spain and see the beach. Madrid is an hour away by train. We are non-smokers, and this is an important rule. We try to maintain an organized lifestyle both at home and elsewhere. We enjoy playing sports and creating a warm and welcoming family atmosphere. We are not the type to go out to bars or nightclubs at night.
  
  En tu tiempo libre podrías estudiar español en la escuela oficial de idiomas. Practicar deportes o actividades que te gustan. Seguir con estudios online. Conocer el entorno próximo y distante, por ejemplo viajando los fines de semana en bus o tren a localidades cercanas como Salamanca, Valladolid, Puebla de Sanabria, Bejar, incluso acercarte al norte de España a Gijón y ver la playa. Madrid está a una hora en tren.
  Somos no fumadores y esto es una norma importante, tratamos de llevar una vida organizada dentro y fuera de la casa. Nos gusta hacer deporte. Y crear un ambiente de familia cálido y acogedor. No somos gente de salir por la noche a bares o discotecas.
