Description
My name is Dani and I'm from England. A couple of years ago I bought a beautiful piece of land a few hundred metres from the coastal road into the jungle of Northern Colombia. The land is 2 hectares and has fruit trees everywhere which makes it a really unique place. There are hundreds of species of birds that live there as well. The hostel has just opened. It has a small intricate family vibe, with a guest kitchen and a very well stocked bar. The team is like a family and we operate efficiently, maintaining high quality service to our guests. We have an accentuation on our bar and the homemade liqueurs we produce for our in house created cocktails.
The whole hostel is offgrid and powered by solar energy.
You'll also meet 2 beautiful dogs and 2 beautiful cats.

There are so many different things to learn and try for the first time here- we like initiative and we also allow people to learn and explore skills and things they are interested in. Volunteers can set their own challenges and see if they can accomplish them.
As for the surrounding area, Buritaca and Don Diego towns are just 5min drive. Both have plenty of Colombian culture and the land is in the perfect location to access various points of interest on the coast. Tayrona National Park, Palomino, Cabo de le Vela, Punta Gallinas are just a few places nearby to visit. There is an array of fantastic beach and jungle hostels in the area providing fun activities and great quality food. This is the perfect place to get away from the crowds and explore the Colombian coast and all it has to offer.
Aide
We are currently looking for volunteers who will help us lead hostel activities and help us in day to day tasks around the functioning of the hostel. The volunteer will need to be social and professional as they will be dealing with guests on a daily basis. We are looking for someone who has had experience working in a hostel before.

Hébergement
The volunteers have tent accommodation with a beautiful ocean view. They have their own shower by the area. The volunteers may also use the guest kitchen of the hostel.
