Description
We are a hostel located in the middle of Ecuador, which makes Baños a meeting point for travelers from around the world. The town has many activities and places to offer, like trekking, cannoning, zip lining, hot springs and more, as well as a chill and safe vibe that makes everyone feel like home.
The concept of the hostel is to create an atmosphere to make everyone feel like home away from home, creating spaces to meet new people and share different experiences either inside of the hostel or outside of it.

Volunteers will be related to people from all over the world and will be part of the social and gastronomic culture offered by Baños de Agua Santa. Besides this, it is a good opportunity to practice and improve their Spanish or any other foreign language, while learning about the management process of a hostel and create connections with other volunteers, staff and guests but the most important thing: while they create their own stories and memories of their travels in Ecuador.
Aide
The help needed is quite simple and it is divided in 2 main activities: Help us work at reception helping us with the check ins/ check outs (Night option, as a special shift), giving guests all the information needed, always having a smile on your face, cleaning of rooms, common areas and bathrooms.
For both of the options we need people that speak English and a basic Spanish (at least), this would make so much easier to communicate with the team and the guests.
We always ask to the volunteers to stay at least 2 weeks, while they learn and practice all the process from the hostel, but everyone is always welcome to stay longer and enjoy all the things that Baños offers if they want it!

We offer a bed in an exclusive and cozy dorm for the volunteers, the access to the Wi-Fi and the services from the hostel (Movie room with a Netflix account, Ping-Pong table, rooftop, etc.).

He pasado 3 semanas aquí, fue una experiencia increíble, el hostal es super lindo y cerca de muchísimos puntos de interes turísticos como cascadas y actividades. Roberto y los demás voluntarios me han echo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento, los horarios son respetados y el trabajo muy sencillo.. totalmente recomandado 😊

Volunteering at this hostel was one of the highlights of my trip. I started as a guest and liked the place so much that I decided to volunteer :)
Great mix of chill and fun, work isnt difficult at all and Roberto is a great manager. Would definitely recommend the hostel, has really good vibes and energy :)

I spent two weeks in the place and had a brilliant time! Because of a upcoming Job, i had to shorten my stay, but after a talk with Roberto, this was no problem. I had a great time here!! The group of volunteers was awesome and the work is nice and fun. Either you make breakfast or you help the guests out. I always enjoyed it. Baños itself is a very nice place to stay for a while and do fun stuff.

Roberto and Ani are the best! Stayed here for a little over two weeks, and had the best time in the cutest city too. Work is fairly easy, just a day or two to really get used to it. Connecting with fellow travelers was one of my highlights, and enjoyed every moment I was there.

Fue mí primer experiencia como voluntaria y fue excelente. Mi plan original era estar 2 semanas y me quedé 3. El ambiente es súper cálido y familiar. El trabajo es relajado y divertido. Me sentí como en casa, me tuvieron paciencia en el aprendizaje y me ayudaron a desafiarme un poco más. Una experiencia súper recomendable!!!

L’aide fournie par Alexis était très importante pour nous, il était responsable de la préparation du petit-déjeuner et du maintien du stock en bon état. En plus de cela, il a toujours participé à d'autres activités que celles qui ne le concernaient pas, vraiment un excellent garçon, toujours prêt à aider !!!

J'ai passé un mois dans l'auberge de Roberto. J'ai prolongé de deux semaines car je m'y sentais bien!
