  With us, you will immerse yourself in the authentic everyday life of a camp and be an important part of our small, informal team. we are known for its relaxed atmosphere and the warm care of our guests who want to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.
  
  What we expect from you:
  * Enthusiasm for hospitality and enjoy interacting with people from all over the world.
  * Reliability, independence and a positive attitude.
  * Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
  * Good communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage).
  * Ability to work in a team and willingness to integrate into our small team.
  * A respectful attitude towards our environment and local conditions.
  * You must be able to handle yourself well and enjoy time with and for yourself.
  * Please note that there are hardly any social opportunities apart from our guests and our team. There is no nearby village, no bars and restaurants, no opportunities to go out.
  
  This is a beautifully situated camp in Namibia, renowned for its breathtaking views and relaxed, close-to-nature atmosphere. It is situated at the foot of the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass, about halfway between Windhoek and Sossusvlei, making it an ideal stopover for travelers wishing to explore these regions.

  Location and accessibility:
  We are situated on the D1275, 28 km from Solitaire. It is easily accessible on the routes between Sesriem (Sossusvlei) and Windhoek or Swakopmund. We are happy to pick you up from Windhoek or Swakopmund. If this is not possible, we will be happy to help you with an uncomplicated journey by shuttle bus.

  What we offer you:
  * A unique workaway experience in a stunning environment.
  * Free accommodation in your own Wokawayer house.
  * Free meals (3 meals a day. Usually we have lunch together. In morning and evening you can cater for yourself, whereby we provide a variety of food.

  * Insights into the operation of a camp and valuable experience in tourism and guest care.

  * Depending on interest, experience and qualification, we learn from each other in different areas of everyday life, culture, nature, wildlife, guest operations, management, etc.
  * Depending on availability, from time to time you can also stay in one of our tented camp chalets free of charge.

  Aide

  Your tasks (varied and exciting):
  Your tasks may vary depending on requirements and include, but are not limited to:
  * Guest services: warmly welcoming and checking in guests, answering questions, assisting with planning activities and excursions, ensuring a pleasant stay.
  * Grounds maintenance: Assisting with the upkeep of the campsite grounds, e.g. light gardening, tidying up.
  * Minor repairs: assist with minor repairs and maintenance around the camp (depending on skills).
  * Creative projects: Depending on your interests and skills, there may also be creative projects, e.g. designing information material or helping to organize small events.
  * Depending on your interest, the tasks involved and your qualifications, you will work and interact with our farm animals (horses, donkeys, sheep), especially with our semi-wild horses. OUR HORSES ARE CURRENTLY FERAL AND CANNOT BE RIDDEN.

  Accommodation in your Workawayer house.
  We have built a small house to offer you reasonable accommodation and privacy. The house is equipped in the style of a small vacation home with all the necessary amenities and offers enough space for one person, a couple or two friends.
  Your house also has a fenced garden with seating and a barbecue.
  Wifi is available in and outside. The costs for the wifi can be charged as a prepaid option. Internet speed is not comparable with European networks.

  The accommodation:
  We offer various accommodation options that blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings:
  * Tented Camp (Chalets): The tented chalets are spacious and offer a comfortable “glamping” experience. Some are even double-storey and offer fantastic views of the surrounding plains and waterholes. The tents are equipped with beds and en-suite bathrooms.
  * Campsites: The individually designed and spacious campsites are situated on a hill and also offer magnificent views. Each campsite usually has its own sanitary facilities (shower and toilet), a private barbecue area and a shaded area.
  
  Special features and atmosphere:
  * Close-to-nature experience:We emphasize on an authentic safari atmosphere. It is an eco-camp, which means that there is no electricity in our guest accommodation, which contributes to the peaceful and natural experience.
  * Spectacular views: The location allows for unparalleled views of the vast savannah, especially at sunrise and sunset. The starry sky in the clear desert air is also impressive.
  * With a little luck and time, a variety of Namibian game can be observed.
  * Peace and seclusion: Away from the hustle and bustle,we offer a place of relaxation and contemplation.
  * Warm hospitality: The camp is run by dedicated hosts who are known for their friendliness and helpfulness.
  
  Facilities and services:
  * A communal area or open hut that offers a wonderful panoramic view. You can usually also enjoy breakfast here.
  * Catering: Often offers the option of booking a sumptuous breakfast. Particularly popular are the “Deluxe Barbecue Packages” with meat (game), sausage, stuffed vegetables, home-baked bread, salad and dessert, which are offered fully prepared including crockery and barbecue equipment. Also available as a vegetarian option.
  * Drinks: Cold drinks and small snacks such as potato chips and chocolate are available in our trusted store and therefore no active service is usually necessary.
  * Firewood and barbecue packages: Firewood and barbecue packs are sold for self-caterers.
  * Natural pool/swimming pond: A special highlight is a spacious natural pool/swimming pond without chemicals and filter system, which functions with water plants, a small waterfall and fish. Please note: naturally cloudy water.
  * WiFi: WiFi is often (but not always) available in the reception and bar area.
  
  Activities (may vary):
  * private nature reserve (approx. 6,000 hectares) invites you to go hiking and is home to a variety of bird and game species.
  
  * Depending on your experience, qualifications and interests, you can also pursue independent projects, go on bike tours or explore the area on your own in one of our vehicles. Interaction with our farm animals (horses, donkeys, sheep, dogs, cats) may also be possible.
  FOR ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OUR PREMISES, THE RESPECTIVE COSTS APPLY. ACTIVITIES ON OUR PREMISES ARE GENERALLY FREE OF CHARGE FOR OUR WORKAWAYERS UP TO A CERTAIN LEVEL.
