  Description

  We are Chrissy and Rico, we are NEW ON WORKAWAY but not new to alternative living: we have been for decades on couchsurfing, warmshowers and homeexchange, so we love sharing lifes stories hehe! HI EVERYONE !
  
  french couple in their early fourties, we live with Mia our sassy cat lady. We are renovating and old school tile works /factory also called a tuilerie. Along the canal de Bourgogne, we have a big bedroom to host you but only one bathroom to share with us. Chrissy is vegetarian and Rico eats meat, so the meals are flexible.
  
  We have guests in our Bed and Breakfast staying at the house in summer so, we like to be discret around the house to let them enjoy the peace and quiet. We also have campers that come for the night through warmshowers and campspace.com; The house is not too far from Chalon sur Saone, le creusot, Montceau les mines, Beaune, Lyon and Paris are 1H15 min away with TGV train. We are on the Eurovelo 6 path and we love having cyclists around. looking forward to ear from you

  Rico has an impresive collection of board games, he love playing and sharing tactics. I love cooking, hosting, volunteering, cycling, and live music. I use to organize some language exchange night at my last work so we don't mind switching language. I only speak english and french , Rico too but with a bit of Portugese too.

  Aide

  We are renovating the 1st floor and we need help with moving boxes for example, easy gardening stuff, or digging a few holes in the garden, organize a few rooms, move some materials, boxes or furniture.
  ( You won't help in the bed and breakfast as it would qualify as labour and is paid work )

  Hébergement

  we can share all meals, you will have your own bedroom. we will share the bathrooms with campers so it must remain clean after yourself.

  TGV train station is 5min away we can drive you there, it will be super fast to go to Lyon or Paris from here . we can drive you to a carpulling stop for exemple. When i go shopping you can of course join, same when we go out of town and you want a ride in that direction, we have bike to let, and bikes to rent.
  number 1 house rule is to be careful when walking in a certain part of the house when we have clients downstairs has they can hear the footstep very well, this apply only when they are here and when you need to walk to your bedroom around evening/night time , so thats the only thing we ask you to be careful with ;)
