  Description

  We are a large family who have 3 of our teenage children living with us. Two of our children are still at school. My 19 year old son is a drummer and interested in web game development. My daughters are learning Spanish and German at school so any contribution here would be great.
  
  While our house is situated in town, we have a hectare of land that we manage around working our various jobs.
  
  We keep chickens and ducks for eggs and meat. Looking after them is a daily responsibility that is shared between the family. We have just started keeping rabbits with the view of breeding them for meat. We feel it is important that the children understand where their food comes from.
  
  We also have a large-ish vegetable garden which we try and improve on each year.
  
  We are a family that love to cook and eat. We can share our cooking with you or you can share with us! While we are generally meat eaters we do enjoy vegetarian dishes so vegetarian helpers are very welcome.

  We are an English/French bilingual family. We generally speak English at home but are fully immersed in our French lifestyle. We can help you improve your spoken English.
  
  We live in an area of natural beauty. Based with us you will be able to discover the beautiful forests around us and the historical monuments locally.

  Aide

  Care of chickens, ducks and rabbits. General garden maintenance (strimming, clearing, grass cutting etc). Help with the vegetable garden. Help with food processing and preserving. Some domestic work as needed.

  Your own room in a family home. The bathroom is shared.

  We live in Pays de La Loire, France. Centrally situated in the town of Sillé-le-Guillaume we are a 2 minute walk from the historical castle and church, 10 minute walk from the train station and 10 minute walk from the town square. Our town has 2 fantastic bakeries who (in my opinion) make lovely baguettes and to die for patisseries.
