  Description

  I'm Frank and I live with my family (Siegrid, Vinzent, Esther and Viktor) in Sank Wendel - in the northern Saarland. For the last 10 years I have been working 3-4 days a week in Biedenkopf/Marburg in Hessen, where I live in my parents' house as a second home. I like both areas and enjoy the best things about both places.
  My wife Siegrid is at home and organizes the children and household. My son Vinzent (26) has been studying in Aachen for 3 years. Daughter Esther (21) has recently started an apprenticeship in Kaiserslautern - Viktor (16) is still at school.
  
  Ich bin Frank und wohne mit meiner Familie (Siegrid, Vinzent, Esther und Viktor) in Sank Wendel - im nördlichen Saarland. Beruflich bin ich seit 10 Jahren unter der Woche 3-4 Tage im hessischen Biedenkopf/Marburg wo ich mein Elternhaus als Zweitwohnung bewohne. Ich mag beide Gegenden und genießen an beiden Wohnorten die Besten Dinge.
  Meine Frau Siegrid ist zu Hause und organisiert Kinder und Haushalt. Sohn Vinzent (26) ist seit 3 Jahre im Studium in Aachen. Tochter Esther (21) hat kürzlich eine Ausbildung in Kaiserslautern begonnen - Viktor (16) geht noch zur Schule.

  Everyone in our family speaks English, so we can coordinate well from day one. We are also happy to teach you German.
  St. Wendel is located in the Saarland and is rural with good train connections to Saarbrücken - a student city - Frankfurt can be reached in about 2 hours. St. Wendel offers great forests for jogging or cycling. My wife is a good cook and I myself am also very creative in the kitchen. We play the piano and accordion - I play the guitar and sing along.
  St. Wendel offers a great outdoor and indoor swimming pool, a climbing gym, fitness studios, a small cinema, pubs and cafés, a billiard café, two dance schools and much more for leisure activities.
  
  Alle bei uns in der Familie sprechen Englisch, so dass wir sicher vom ersten Tag uns gut abstimmen können. Gerne bringen wir dir auch Deutsch bei.
  St. Wendel liegt im Saarland und ist ländlich geprägt mit guter Bahnanbindung nach Saarbrücken und Frankfrut (Frankfurt ist in etwas 2 h erreichbar). St. Wendel bieten tolle Wälder zum Joggen oder Radfahren. Meine Frau ist eine gute Köchen und ich selber bin auch sehr kreativ in der Küche. Bei uns werden Klavier und Akkordeon gespielt -ich selber spiele Gitarre und singe dazu. St. Wendel biete ein tolles Frei- und Hallenbad, ein Kletterhalle, Fitnessstudios, ein kleines Kino, Kneipen und Cafes, ein Billiardcafes, zwei Tanzschulen und vieles mehr für die Freizeitgestaltung.

  Aide

  I am primarily looking for help with renovation (including clearing out, remodeling, wallpapering, painting) in and around the house as well as help in the garden. Furthermore, help with household chores (cooking, shopping, cleaning, ironing,...) would be good.
  I am very handy and am looking for help with the tasks - but I would also like to show you things that you can then do independently during the day.
  
  Ich suche in erster Linie eine Hilfe bei Renovierungsarbeiten (u.a. Ausräumen, Umgestalten, Tapezieren, Streichen) im und um das Haus sowie Hilfe im Garten . Weiterhin wäre eine Unterstützung bei der Haushaltsführung (Kochen, Einkaufen, Putzen, Bügeln,...) gut.
  Ich bin handwerklich sehr geschickt und suche einerseits eine Hilfe bei der Arbeit - stelle mir aber auch vor dir Dinge zu zeigen, die du dann selbständig über den Tag durchführst.

  Je nachdem aus welchem Land du kommst würden wir es begrüßen, wenn du das Englisch u/o unseres Sohnes verbessern könntest, indem du mit Ihm in diesen Sprachen kommunizierst. Depending on which country you come from, we would appreciate it if you could improve our son's English by communicating with him in these languages.

  Hébergement

  You have your own room . There is WLAN :-) in the entire apartment. The other rooms are shared. We can eat together - due to my job, when I am traveling, you may have to eat alone.
  
  Du hast ein eigenes Zimmer. Es gibt WLAN :-) in der gesamten Wohnung. Die anderen Räumlichkeiten werden gemeinsam genutzt. Essen können wir gerne gemeinsam - berufsbedingt, wenn ich unterwegs bin, kann es aber auch sein, dass du alleine Essen musst.

  Autres infos...

  St. Wendel has good train and bus connections to the nearest larger towns. We can also provide you with a bicycle to explore the surrounding area. At the weekend we usually organize activities together (barbecues, excursions, theater, sailing, etc.) which you are welcome to join.
  If you are staying for a longer period of time, we offer to buy a Germany ticket for you - this allows you to use all local trains and buses free of charge.
  If you have a driver's license, there is also the possibility that you take over driving duties (but I have to clarify this with the car insurer).
  
  St. Wendel besitzt eine gute Bahn- und Busanbindung an die nächst größeren Städte. Weiterhin können wir dir ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung stellen mit dem du auch gut die nähere Umgebung erkunden kannst. Am Wochenende unternehme wir meist gemeinsame Aktivitäten (Grillen, Ausflüge, Theater, Segeln, ) bei denen du gerne mitkommen kannst.
  Wenn du längere Zeit bleibst bieten wir an für dich eine Deutschlandticket zu kaufen - damit kannst du dann kostenfrei alle Nahverkehrszüge und Busse nutzen.
  Solltest du eine Führerschein habe besteht ggf. die Möglichkeit dass du auch Fahrdienste übernimmst (das muss ich aber dann noch mit dem Autoversicherer klären).
