  We are a family with three little ones. We moved from England in 2017 looking for a home in the beautiful Dordogne / Correze area. We bought a house and land that need quite a bit of work. And we have big plans!

  This is a fantastic place to be. It is rural and close to a great many beautiful and interesting places to visit.
  We are interested in many projects and will happily involve you in whatever tickles your fancy. We were both teachers in a previous life, so would enjoy having an apprentice. Chris is currently spending time with wood and stone. He has a small sawmill and so you can be involved in the whole process of furniture making, from felling a tree, right through to creating fine inlaid pieces or carved pieces.
  I am pretty handy with a sewing machine, and have a few upholstery jobs on the go.
  We both love to brew. We love English ale, but like to mix it up a bit and try a variety of beers. We have a fermenter that produces around 200 bottles a pop, so it's a respectable micro-brewery and we'd welcome any interest.

  Aide

  We would really be interested in a couple coming to stay with us. We have lots of general outdoor maintenance to do here as well as renovating the buildings.
  Some of the jobs coming up include: Reroofing and restoring a beautiful and ancient bread oven; terracing using stone; painting and decorating the traditional Perigordian farm house (artistic flair welcomed here); strimming and clearing land; gardening - veg, flowers, herbs, vines, truffles; building outdoor furniture - tables and loungers; building a home for ducks including a little house and wattle fencing.
  And another major job is that we have just gained some land that we intend to fill with inoculated truffle trees (all by hand).
  Having three children also keeps us busy, so we would love help with them. They are aged 1, 3 and 5 and are very ready to be inspired by people with energy and experiences to share.
  This list is in no way exhaustive, and there are bound to be plenty of other things that crop up. If you are proactive and see an opportunity to do something that excites you, the possibilities are vast.
  A helpful, friendly attitude is what we are really looking for. We will be there working alongside you and you will be rewarded by being a part of an incredible, aesthetic project; also with nice cold beer; and a dip in the newly completed luxury pool (thank you work away!)

  Hébergement

  We have a comfortable room that has a shower ensuite. It is on its own floor, so is very private. There is only room for a couple or single person, unless you don't mind sharing!
  
  There is also a small sechior building. It is basic (consisting of a bedroom only, ie - no loo), but very charming and totally private. It only has a double bed, so again suitable for one or two people. It isn’t heated, so really only available when the weather warms up.
  
  Currently, we are renovating the upstairs of the house, but you would have access to your own kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
  
  We will cook for you and include you in our lives, for example, you can join us with visits to friends or day trips if you would like to. We are also very happy for you to use the land and take as much space as you need. There is plenty of room for a tent or camper if you prefer.
