  Description

  My partner and I have been hosting traveller's for over five years. We love meeting new people, sharing travel stories, and creating a welcoming experience.
  
  Our home is within walking distance of the CBD, with a bus stop nearby for easy access to town. We also offer free use of bicycles, as we’re close to a beautiful waterfront cycling trail. In exchange for four hours of work per day, we provide accommodation, food and friendship.
  
  You're welcome to join us for board games—we have a great selection! My partner enjoys taking visitors surfing and mountain biking, and our two sons love soccer—some of our past guests have even helped them practice.

  We're currently looking for helpers interested in tasks such as:
  - Building a garden bed and a chicken run
  - Assembling aluminum garden fence panels
  - Planting trees and pruning roses
  - Learning and helping with building projects, repairing a wooden fence, building a wall, plastering, and painting

  Hébergement

  We have a big spare bedroom with a queen bed, and also a cabin in the garden with a double bed. A nice, comfy home, with all conveniences. Free wifi included.
  We provide food and expect that visitors will make their own breakfast and lunch, and usually we cook a shared dinner together.

  Autres infos...

  We are close to the city center, so you can walk or catch a bus there, or you can borrow one of our bikes.
  The must see place near us are Mt Manaia, Ocean Beach, Waipu caves and Whangārei Falls. If you are keen to bike riding there a lots of local trails.
