  Description

  Hello! I am a Waldorf teacher from California currently living in Lake Como, Italy with my Italian husband and our one year old baby. We live in a renovated baita in the forest of Lake Como, which is about a 20 minute hike from the town (not for the faint of heart for the hike can be steep at times) and in the summer season, we do yoga day retreats. We have many ideas for this property (we would like to build a deck for our yurt, a compost toilet, an outdoor kitchen, an awesome garden, a sauna, natural pool) however, in this moment, since we are expecting another baby in June 2025, we are looking for someone to mostly help us with our one year old baby and around the house and property. You will be staying in a village nearby in the town, and on the days that we are together, you will take a ferry across the lake and walk up to us in the forest.

  We love to meet new people and share this unique life style with others. We have a large vision for this project, but at the moment we mostly need help with the little one. We also own a water ski school on the lake in Blevio and we would love to have you there and take you out on the boat!

  Aide

  We mostly need help with our one year old baby since I will be quite pregnant at the time and my husband will be working. You two can play, go for walks in the forest, do little art projects, etc. We would also need general help around the house and property with laundry, cooking, cleaning, gardening, etc. We are open to having people stay for as long as they can, we do not need to have the same person for the entire three months.

  Hébergement

  We offer accommodation in the village of Cernobbio. You will stay in an apartment in the center of this sweet village. There is a lot to do and it is very easy to get around.
  
  We will pay for your meals and your transportation to arrive here at the house.

  There is the ferry on the lake that will take you around which is a great way to see all of the beauty that Lake Como has to offer. There is something for everyone here.
