  Hi, we’re Katie, David and our three-year-old son, George.
  
  We’re a friendly, easygoing family living in Kingscliff, New South Wales, within walking distance of the beach (600 metres). We love spending time outdoors, whether that’s heading down to the beach, looking out for whales or rainbows, or just enjoying the space. We’re also close to the Gold Coast and many of the beautiful towns throughout the Northern Rivers (Byron Bay is 45 mins).
  
  George is a happy three-year-old who loves construction machinery, trains, being outdoors and meeting new people. He’s full of personality and brings lots of laughter to our home.
  
  We like to have great chats and get to know you, and help out how we can, but we also have a big house and all like solo time too. Come make yourself at home and chat about and also do your own thing.

  David grew up in this area, so we’re always happy to share local knowledge, whether it’s the best beaches, walks, cafés or places to explore in the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast.
  
  Before moving here, I hosted guests through property rental for many years in Sydney, so I enjoy talking about travel, Australia and hearing about where other people are from.
  
  We enjoy getting to know the people who stay with us, sharing meals or conversations when it suits, but we also respect that many people like to have their own space and explore independently.

  Aide

  We are happy to change the tasks based on your interests and skills.
  
  - spending time playing and creating with George
  - cooking (taking turns with us in dinner)
  - light tidying and cleaning (we have a weekly cleaner so just the day to day mess of a child :))
  - gardening (we are just starting to create various spaces at the moment, Dave has a bad back so anyone wanting to do manual labour is amazing, but not essential!)
  - painting fences (maybe your day could look like painting for a few hours a day and spending the rest of the day at the beach)
  
  You tell us what roles suit you and we can make it work :)

  Hébergement

  Private bedroom. Double bed. Can be locked from the inside. Privacy of a hallway to it. The bathroom is the spare bathroom used by my 3 year old and us when doing stuff with him but is generally unused. We have a pool, it’s a bit too cold to use in winter.
