  Description

  Welcome to our family!
  
  We are an easygoing family with three children 6, 9 and 11 years old. We are looking for someone who speaks English (and has some knowledge of Spanish) to join us during the summer. Our preference would be during the month of July, the last week of August and/or the first week of September.
  
  We would like you to spend the mornings with the kids, doing easy things like playing, drawing, doing crafts, going out for a walk or doing others simple activities, and just speaking English with them in a relaxed, fun way. You will have plenty of free time in the afternoons to relax, explore or enjoy the area. If you feel like it, you’re also welcome to join us in our family activities, and we can take you to visit some nice places in the area.
  
  We live in a quiet and safe village, about 2,700 inhabitants, surrounded by nature, with many opportunities to explore the countryside. We are also close to the beautiful city of Vic (Catalonia), a lively and charming city with everything you might need. There is public transport nearby.
  
  This is a cultural exchange, not a paid job, and during your stay you would have accomodation and meals included.
  
  We are easygoing, respectful and happy to welcome someone who wants to share their language and culture with us.

  You will experience everyday life in a Catalan family and practise both Catalan and Spanish with us. We live in a small village near Vic, surrounded by nature. We enjoy sharing our culture, food and way of life, and we are also happy to learn about yours. It’s a simple, friendly cultural exchange in a peaceful environment.

  Aide

  We are looking for someone who speaks English to spend the mornings with our children during the summer. The idea is simple: play, draw, do craft, go for a walk,... and do other easy activities so they can practise English in a natural and fun way. As the kids hardly speak English, it would be helpful if you also know some Spanish.
  We (the parents) also have an intermediate level of English, so having you here will help the whole family improve and feel more confident.
  
  Just spending time with the kids and creating an English-speaking environment for a few hours each morning. Afternoons are completely free for you.
  
  And we can help you to improve your Spanish!
  
  We are looking for someone who is clean, tidy and discreet. We don’t expect you to do any household chores, but we do ask everyone in the family to help keep the shared spaces clean and tidy.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own private room in our house. You will also have your own bathroom for your use (without a shower, shower is shared). The rest of the spaces (kitchen, living room, etc.) are shared with the family.
  
  Our home is comfortable, clean, and cosy, and we have a garden where we spend time together, especially in summer. We will provide meals, and you are welcome to join our family routines during your stay if you feel like it.
