  Description

  Hi there, I'm a Mom with 3 boys ages 9, 12 & 14. We live in a big old 5 bedroom house nestled in the jungles of Puerto Viejo, on the South Carribean Coast. We have 4 dogs; 3 poodles and 1 rescue. We live a 5 minute walk from a safe, beautiful beach that has been rated on National Geographic's top 10 Beaches in the world.
  
  Here you can walk for miles in either direction, enjoying the unspoiled natural beaches. There are many activities in our community to participate in from volley ball, yoga, dance classes and more. There are many restaurants and shops in our neighbourhood. Puerto Viejo area is a vibrant, friendly and beautiful place to be in.

  The is plenty of opportunity within the community to interact with the local culture and language. Languages spoken on this coast are mainly Spanish, Bribri and some Patois.

  Aide

  Help with dog walks on the beach, light house work/cooking, and keeping an eye on the boys. The work is light. I go to work and really just need someone to keep things moving and the boys safe while I'm gone at work. The boys are older and play independently with their friends who live in other houses nearby. They are also in town many evenings for sports. Sometimes you might go and sit on the beach with them and the neighbours. Someone who is happy to cook some beans and potatoes ready for dinner, prep a simple salad, sweep the floor and throw in a load of laundry. We have a cleaner who comes for deep cleaning twice per week.
  At times my elderly mother may need assistance.
  Household help is appreciated.
  Leaf raking and a few handy-man skills are a treasure.

  We speak English as a first language. The children are fully bilingual in Spanish and English. I am functional in Spanish.

  Hébergement

  The home is spacious. It used to be a hostel and restaurant. Now its just our family home. It is an older home for the area, made from wood with a beautiful cathedral ceiling. It is large, with 5 bedrooms. The common areas are open and ventilated with ceiling fans. The house is rustic. We live surrounded by nature. 5 minutes walk to a world-class swimming beach with golden sand. This kind of house is quite open and beautiful, but it does mean that you are living right within nature.
  
  You are entitled to 3 full meals a day consisting of fruits and cereals, eggs, bread, rice & beans, and fresh vegetables. We will ask you to help with some of the preparation of these foods, and you are welcome to eat with the family. We also own a restaurant here and at times we will eat together at the restaurant which will be included in your stay. If ever you're at home without the family, you are welcome to help yourself to meals.

  8lbs of pure love. Apricot and white Toy Poodle. Born to spoon in your arms, sleep on a bed. Loves to chase butterflies on the beach. 5 years old.

  15 lb mini poodle. Red -Brown and a professional cuddler. 6 years old.

  Junie

  4 year old beach rescue. Loving and beautiful member of our family. 35lbs. 4 years old. Likely has some fox hound genes.

  Kippy

  4 year old , chocolate brown standard poodle. 65lbs of pure cuddling, easy going, love.
