Description
This is a small hobby farm on a riverside location in the Comox Valley, Vancouver Island. Help is needed with yard and house maintenance, and with the flock of purebred poultry and 4 small fainting goats.. I'm a single person on the acreage, with a number of house pets..you to be an animal lover (and an outdoorsy person) is paramount. I need general help with all sorts of different things!! Gardening, yard help, minor landscaping and some small house repair issues. Wi fi is available in the house..If you are a smoker, I ask that you smoke outside.. In the spring it is interesting on this hobby farm...as I also have peacocks that are noisy for 8 weeks during their breeding season. But you do get to see spectacular displays from them that time of year. But spring is also when I am in need of the most help with the garden and yard.
Someone who is happy with doing some support work for a senior....housekeeping help,perhaps cooking meals, appointment keeping. at the moment almost a companion situation... There are also minor jobs needing help with painting and repairs etc. I think its fairly quiet here, but you will be able to explore as Imat the base of a ski hill, living on a salmon bearing stream. There are eagles nesting on the stream....and there are sheep, geese, ducks, morning doves....etc. quite an assortment of birds... -

Have a myriad of small projects around the yard that seem to be never-ending. I also have a couple of house and barn repair projects that need taking care of...vast construction knowledge not required for them.

Variable...you can camp down by the river if you wish..or stay in a spare bedroom in the house..or live in the travel trailer in the yard...your choice!! Non-smoking in the house please.
The travel trailer or a camper van are at your disposal. Both need some help to set up.

Headquarters/Merville area is in the Comox Valley, which is 10 miles from the nearest town (Courtenay/Comox)..and at the base of the access road to Mount Washington and its winter skiing , summer bike trails etc...Fishing is also great..as is water sports, hiking, biking. Great access to outdoor sports. Prefer singles only...a "couple" may possible, upon discussion.
