Description
In the jungle of the Caribbean Costa Rica lives one of the last Medicine Men of the Bri Bri culture. Our mission is to build a centre where people can come to learn connection with the land, the spirit of Sibö and the lost traditions, medicines and ways of the indigenous culture.
Victoria will host and meet you, introducing you to Marcelino Figuera Lopez, a well known AWA of 4 generations with permission to share his wisdom of Cacao and other medicines with visitors and locals.
The mountain is shared with many local animals, incredible birds, 2 horses and a small crew of indigenous friends and family to help clear and build in this magical space.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

We are looking for spirited people who can help with construction of basic wood casitas and clearing the space. This will mostly be teamwork building so any experience is appreciated. Marcelino speaks Spanish and very little English but is always eager to practice and exchange stories. Workers will also have the opportunity to partake in authentic indigenous Cacao ceremonies and learn many medicinal plants during the stay.

Individual camping with mattresses etc is provided with optional hammock
Food provided is breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chef is very lovely, The farm provides an abundance of fresh fruits :)Autres infos...
The farm is approximately 20 minutes drive from Puerto Viejo a lively tourist centre with a rasta reggae vibe. This is a great place to spend the weekends with some of the most beautiful beaches in the World. Many local waterfalls are accessible from the farm. There is a regular bus from BriBri (the closest town) to PV but is a bit unreliable to get to the farm. We will pick you up from PV or Bri Bri.
The farm is extremely rural style. It is very hot in the jungle, although fresh at night and people sleep in hammocks not beds. You have tent and mattress options. This is not a place for the faint of heart. You will be sharing the space with the elements and the insects live there too!Informations complémentaires
