Hi I'm Panda. I'm Thai and my husband is British. My husband and I, with our 3 children have opened a small international kindergarten and primary school in Mandalay which has been operational for over 5 years. We are in need of English-speaking teachers for our annual, months summer course(March - May).

We have been living in Myanmar for quite some (before many for the government changes took place) so we can share our personal experiences of how life was like in Myanmar for expats and locals and how much it has changed.

Aide
English teachers who are able to stay for at least 3 months (March, April, May) . The English course, and all teaching materials will be provided, but we'd also like to find teachers who can improvise and add fun games and art to thier class.

Hébergement
We have comfortable, private guest rooms. Shared spaces would be the kitchen, dinning room and living room.
We have house keepers who will do daily cleaning and laundry.
Food is provided.
Breakfast and dinner: Very welcomed to join our family, or can perpare food yourself using anything in the kitchen to suit your taste or any dietary needs.
Lunch: Is perpard by the school Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday is the same as breakfast.
We hope to provide a bicycle or scooter for in city transportation.

We are waking distance to many famous pagodas and well as the Palace and the moat. On our main street there are many small convenient stores, local tea shops and restaurants. Mandalay has some public transport, but since most locals ride scooters or motorbikes public transport is quite limited.

I spent nearly three months teaching in Mandalay and really enjoyed the experience. I had a lovely clean room with air con and laundry service. The food was excellent, with a mix of western and Myanmar food provided. I put on pounds during my stay. I stayed with Panda and Tim for about ten days in August painting walls in their home and classrooms. Simply put, I had a great time. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Panda, Tim, their children, housemaids, and friends were all lovely and made me feel like a part of the family for my short stay.

Our experience with Tim and Panda was unforgettable. We liked the job what we've done for them and hope it will help to run their business.
