  Description

  We have 2 young daughters age 7 and 4, and 2 cats. We live outside of Granada in La Zubia near the Sierra Nevada National Park, we have a swimming pool and a private space for you to live. The children and fluent in Spanish, English and will begin French next school year.

  We are from the United States and moved to Granada almost 3 years ago. Our children (age 7 and 4) speak English and Spanish fluently and my husband speaks Spanish well. We both have graduate degrees in psychology and are students of world religion and culture.
  
  Ideally we find someone who also speaks French as they will begin learning French the following school year, but we're open. Arabic speakers are warmly welcome also. We're conscious parents who eat in health ways and highly value education and emotional intelligence. We know the area quite well and have lots of respect for the local land and culture. Anyone who stays with us can expect us to honor your space and interests in a generous and support way. We're flexible.

  Aide

  We are looking for someone who is self motivated and happy to help with a variety of different things. Help with cooking, cleaning, some different house projects, taking care of the cats, child care, staying with the cats for one week in August and possibly another week in late July while we are away.

  We have a basement level apartment with a private bedroom and bathroom and private entrance. There is a kitchenette and outdoor access to the garden and pool. The basement is for you to stay in but would be shared access for us when we are down at the pool. We are happy to share meals or do some separate meals, we can discuss this further--prefer someone who enjoys cooking!

  There's really so much to do in the Granada area, it's hard to summarize and it depends on your interests. We do have a bus that passes near to our house but we're a bit outside the commotion, so that's also nice.
