  Description

  We are an adventure tourism company based in Margaree Forks, Cape Breton Island . We currently operate a boutique-style campground with a mix of campsites, glamping, and a-frames. We run and operate river tubing, sup, kayak, and hiking tours along with hosting concerts and events at our shop on the weekends during the summer. We are located on the famous Cabot Trail just minutes away from the river, 3 amazing beaches and the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

  This is a central gathering hub for travelers and locals alike. We grew up in Margaree and worked hard to develop a space where people could meet and share experiences and network with like-minded travelers which was not catered to when we started in 2016. Our shop is a local gathering place where other operators and locals meet daily which will immerse anyone who stays with us into the local community. We've also developed a network of like-minded businesses around the Cabot Trail so if you're looking to travel to other communities on days of, we can get you lined up with who you need to see and where you need to go!

  We're looking to add some members to our team for the 2022 summer season.
  
  The positions we need to be filled are some of the following:
  
  - Admin / Shop Assistant - This would be assisting with campground check-ins, managing online and in-person bookings, answering emails, and assisting clients with bookings.
  - River guides / Assistants / General labourers with our river tours (helping load and unload boards and tubes, cleaning gear, and dealing with clients).
  - Housekeeping in our glamping accommodations and tents

  We've got a few different types of accommodations available. We have a farmhouse/main residence on-site with a private spare room and we also have option to camp onsite. Both places are equipped with a private kitchen, shower, and toilet. The grocery store is a walking distance away for anything else you may need.

  Margaree is pretty central on Cape Breton Island. We're close to National Park, Inverness, Baddeck, 3 amazing beaches (Margaree based - Cape Breton has many beaches) and we're across the road from the world-famous Margaree River which is great for fishing and swimming. If you're looking for quick day trips OR longer multi-day hiking adventures, we can certainly point you on where to go and chances are, arrange for a drive if you do not have a car.
