Hey there! We are Thibaut (French architect and photographer ) and Jelena (Canadian, Croatian circular economy PhD student) and with our two kids: Ayla almost 2 year old Oscar 4 years, we are starting to work on our eco sanctuary in the heart of the Corsican mountains. We have 7,000m2 of property where we’re going to build our future home, two tiny houses for tourists, a natural swimming pool etc. We are really excited to host people that are willing to get their hands dirty, learn with us as we experiment and try things in our space. We urgently need help on the house build but beginners are welcome Thibaut is very good at explaining everything! We are also slowly developing the syntropic forest garden system: helping to start seeds, plant, mulch, pruning, etc.

We speak fluent French, English at home and Jelena also speaks Croatian. We have a car that you can use to travel around the region to go to incredible hiking in your spare time. The beach is a 45 minute drive. We are passionate about cooking (omnivore), eco constriction, photography and just living a more simple life in nature with our family

First we really need to set up the syntropic system so we need to bring the compost, mulch, plant seeds, plant trees etc. Basically help kick start our organic garden oasis! also some help with our kids when necessary

Hébergement
You will have your own private bedroom in the house we live in. The kitchen and bathroom is shared by everyone. We need the kitchen bathroom free in the morning from 7:30-8.30 in the morning to get the kids ready because it's always a bit of a rush in the morning but other than that it's free whenever!

The famous Tavignanu and Restoniva valleys are a 20 minute drive. Tons of other hiking paths in and around our village. A small town with swimming pool, rock climbing gym, restaurants and shops is 15 minute drive from the house and the sea is 45 minute drive

I only stayed for 5 days with Jelena and Thibault but I enjoyed my time there! The work (mainly construction) was new to me but Thibault was very patient in explaining everything and I felt like any help was welcomed. The two kids are the cutest, Jelena's cooking skills were topnotch, and the area is beautiful with lots of places to explore.

Unfortunately I could only host Monique for a few days which was so sad because she was so lovely! She was great to chat to and was so helfpul on the job site and open for anything. We really wish she could have stayed longer and hope she comes back again soon!

Jelena and Thibaut have created an amazing family that makes you feel at home. They are super friendly, flexible and help me with every little thing to make my stay comfortable.
