  Description

  Hi ! We are Amandine, Fabien & Hermione (6 months baby girl :-)). We discovered WorkAway a few years ago when we travelled in South America. We worked for vineyard, eco-construction projects and renovation projects, we've met a lot of friendly people and it was an amazing experience.
  
  Today we are buying a very old house in Bourgogne (France) close to the Morvan Regional Natural Park. The house is in the beautiful city center of Autun, close to Roman Monuments. The place is big and needs a lot of renovation work. There is also a nice garden with fruits trees, a vegetable garden and chicken coop to take care of.
  
  We need your help for all of this. Project could change depending on the weather and our priorities of the moment.

  We love meeting new people, discovering new cultures and languages. We will also be more than happy to show you construction tips (this is not our first renovation project) and some of our secret recipes (we are foodies : we really like cooking and eating :-)).

  Aide

  Some of our needs within any given week might include:
  - Help on the eco friendly project of rebuilding the entrance pavilion of the domain. This project involve the upcycling of cork stopper to insulating walls, save the old 1860's tomette on the ground, ect
  - gardening
  - painting and decorating
  - renovate furnitures
  - lay tiles (we will do it together ;-)
  - taking care of the chicken coop
  - preparing Firewood
  - enjoying home cook meals and quality time with the family

  Hébergement

  Private room in the house with private bathroom. We have all meals together (except when we are not home but in that case, you will have everything you need for breakfast, lunch and diner).

  Autres infos...

  Autun can be reach with TGV, though the TGV station of Le creusot Monceau TGV, in 1,20 hour for Paris and 40 minutes from Lyon. There, a bus (aligned with train schedules) that can take you Autun in 30 minutes.
  
  The house is located in the center of Autun, a city of 20 000 people. So we have the advantage of the countryside (park of nearly 1 hectar, trees, meadow) while beeing in the city center. bars, restaurants, theaters, and all you can dream of in terms of food)
  
  In Autun, you can do multiples activities without taking a bus or a car. For instance, we'll be happy to go with you :
  - visit the monuments of the city (including relics from the Roman period)
  - take bikes and go for a tour in the sourrounding forest or in the vineyards
  - go hiking on the Morvan Natural Park
  - swim on the lake (or the swimming pool just around)
  - enjoy the garden
