  Description

  Christy and I live in the quiet countryside in County Clare, 3 miles from the nearest town of Ennistymon (and the nearest public transport). It's a peaceful area with beautiful beaches and great music. I'm not far From Lahinch, on the Wild Atlantic Way.. and Doolin, the Traditional Music Capital of Ireland.. the Burren, with its magical limestone moonscapes.. and Ennis, the capital town of County Clare.
  
  My name is Lisa. I have grandkids here 2 or 3 days a week so you would want to be able for the happy and wild energy of kids. Christy, our black cat is affectionate but can also be a bit crazy. This is a lovely area and a wonderful spot for music.. I'm currently surrounded by the baah-ing of baby lambs.

  I taught English as a Second Language (ESOL) for 20 years. I'm retired now, but I'm still fascinated with languages. I can speak very basic French and Spanish. Over the years I've tried to learn some Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian and Norwegian, and I'm intrigued by Japanese. A language exchange would be great.
  
  I have many varied interests, including music and the visual arts. I have a background in screen printing. I enjoy dancing, walking and yoga. It would be fun to seek out local events that might spark your interest.

  I would love help in my small garden - mainly physical tasks, so plenty of energy needed. I would also welcome creative input.

  Hébergement

  My 90 year-old cottage is warm and cosy. Full of art. You would have your own bedroom up a steep staircase, and access to a shared bathroom. No smoking inside please.
  
  I like food and would do my best to feed you well. I am not always an excellent cook though, so would appreciate help in the kitchen. I love trying foreign food and enjoy tasting other people's cooking!
