  Description

  🌿 Looking for our English-speaking “big sister” in rural Catalonia (September–November)
  
  Hello!
  
  We are Prudence and Pedro, a French-Spanish couple living in the beautiful countryside near Corbera d’Ebre, Catalonia (Spain). We are looking for a native English-speaking woman with childcare experience to join our family from September to the end of November.
  
  We are not simply looking for someone to help with childcare—we’re hoping to welcome someone who will truly become part of our family for a few months.
  
  🌞 Meet our family
  
  Our greatest joy is our son, Isaiah, who is 5½ years old.
  
  Isaiah is a sweet, affectionate, curious and sensitive little boy. He loves spending time outdoors, asking questions and discovering the world.
  
  His favourite things are:
  
  * Cars and anything with an engine 🚗
  * Nature and wildlife 🌿
  * Animals
  * Building, creating and imaginative play
  
  We’re looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children through kindness, patience and positivity. Someone who believes in respectful, caring relationships and enjoys encouraging children’s curiosity and confidence.
  
  🌿 Our home
  
  We live in a peaceful mountain setting surrounded by olive trees, almond trees and incredible landscapes.
  
  Life here is simple, calm and close to nature. We enjoy eating together, spending evenings outside, exploring nearby villages, hiking and appreciating the little things.
  
  If you enjoy nature, peaceful places and authentic experiences, you’ll probably love living here.
  
  🏡 Your accommodation
  
  We want you to feel comfortable and have your own space.
  
  You can choose between:
  
  * A private bedroom in our family home.
  * Or your own independent area with a small open-air cabin and a caravan surrounded by nature.
  * You are welcome to use both spaces if you like having a mix of family life and privacy.
  
  ❤️ Your role
  
  Your main role will be spending quality time with Isaiah in English.
  
  This includes:
  
  * Playing together
  * Reading books
  * Going on little adventures
  * Speaking English naturally throughout the day
  * Occasionally driving him to and from school
  
  We would also appreciate a little help with family life, such as:
  
  * Helping prepare dinner from time to time
  * Occasionally cooking together
  * Helping with small everyday tasks
  
  We’re simply looking for someone who enjoys sharing daily life as part of a family.
  
  🚗 Important
  
  A driving licence is essential.
  
  You should already feel confident driving, as you’ll sometimes take Isaiah to school on country roads.
  
  Having your own car would be a bonus, but if not, feel free to contact us and we’ll see what might be possible together.
  
  🌍 What we offer
  
  This is much more than a childcare opportunity.
  
  You’ll experience authentic rural life in Catalonia, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes.
  
  If you’re interested in languages, we’d be delighted to help you improve your French and Spanish through everyday conversations. There are also Catalan language classes nearby, making this a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in three different languages during your stay.
  
  We’ll happily introduce you to the local area, share meals, discover the region together and include you in our family life if that’s what you’re looking for.
  
  Our hope is that you leave with wonderful memories, new friendships and the feeling that you’ve found a second family.
