Description
I am an English teacher in one of the senior high school in a small town Pangkep, South Sulawesi, indonesia.45 minutes from Hasanuddin international airport. The children have a very low motivation in learning English.. thats why i need helpers to spent time to share their English in sharing and motivates them, so they will be better at school and for the future.

I really need helpers to open the children mind that there are many countries around the world that they need to step up and with English their dream can come true. I hope that helpers would get along with the kids age 10 to 17 years old. voluntere can help me in activities susch us English gathering, and even just by having a daily conversation in an informal situation it already means a lot.

Hébergement
Accommodation is a family home. I live with my parents and my 3 daughters. we have 4 bedrooms so the volunteer will have their own bedroom to stay in while they are with me.
my family and I will provide food three times a day. and if the volunteer have allergies or specific info like vegetarian or so I will make sure that they have the food that they need. I hope that the volunteer would try our local food and as they should know we eat rice here☺️
Now I have WiFi at home so that volunteers can access internet freely.

In their free time off they can go to many local places or see Makassar city, waterfall in town, coffee shop with free wifi and e.t.c

Fabri is a kind and generous person. My family and I really happy that we felt like he is part of our family now.

All my family, students, neighbors and friends loves them.
Three weeks staying with me was such great moments.
They are also lucky for coming on August to see our activities in Indonesia independence day celebration.

We stayed three weeks and a half at Ika's home. She lives with her parents and daughters and they are all lovely: we felt like home since the first day. They planned a lot of things to do and see for us round the village. We met a lot of people and we felt very accepted, we experienced new food and a difference culture that we loved.

I had great and unfortunately short time in Maros but I will come back!! Ika is a great host, I loved her and her family company. I felt that my stay was very useful for students over there and they welcomed me with honors:) I think your presence will be also welcomed very warmly. Good luck Ika!!
