Hello everyone!
I’m Andrea, originally from Germany, and I’ve been living in beautiful Puerto de Mogán, in the sunny south of Gran Canaria, for over 28 years.
Since 2010, I’ve owned a lovely house here. The property offers one of the most fantastic views over the entire bay — a peaceful and inspiring place to relax, create, and connect.
Its surrounded by a small garden with a lot ofplants, giving it a tranquil and green atmosphere.
I share my private home with friends, volunteers and two chilled cats, Yoko and Ono, and a lively little dog named Skippa, who brings a lot of energy and joy to the space.
Since 2021 i own another very old house, which i try to restore with as much recycled material as possible and try not to produce a lot of trash. So its a lot of hand help, what i love to do with everybody who is interested in sostenable way of rebuilding a home. -

Our house is located in the heart of Puerto de Mogán, often called the “Little Venice” of Gran Canaria — a charming fishing village with a laid-back vibe, colourful architecture, and beautiful marina views.
As a Workawayer here, you’ll get the chance to experience island life from a local perspective.
You’ll also have the opportunity to:
• Practice or improve your Spanish, English (or help us with your native language)
• Learn about Canarian culture, food, and daily rhythms
• Share meals, conversations, and cultural traditions
• Explore local beaches, markets, and the natural beauty of the island during your time off
• Exchange ideas and stories with travelers from around the world

Aide
I’m looking for people oder than 25, who are happy to help with the day to day running of my house, and making sure everything is in order.
Taking Skippa the dog for walks is also part of the daily routine :)
Creative tasks , or small projects are done from time to time, so if you’re crafty or enjoy working with your hands, you are very welcome. If you have a little or a lot of experience in handy work, thats what i am looking for too. -

You’ll be staying in a shared room with up to five others, and you’ll share the kitchen, bathroom, and a cozy living room with a stunning sea view.
You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen where you can comfortably prepare your own meals.
There are two supermarkets within walking distance, along with local shops and markets for all your grocery needs.
Shared meals are very common, with a great social atmosphere in the dining area. -

My house is perfectly located just steps away from the beach and harbour, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars, and all the essential amenities you might need. The bus station is just a 7 minute walk away, offering easy connections to explore the rest of the island.

Yoko is a very peaceful and loving cat, who prefers a calm environment.
She has an adventurous nature, and has an aura of wisdom and beauty.
She is extremely friendly, and very good with people.
Skippa (8 ans)
Skippa is a very friendly and playful dog.
He loves going for walks and exploring the area.
He treats the cats very well, and has an excellent personality. He is extremely good with people.
Ono (14 ans)
Ono is a real character, who likes hanging out with people.
She’s extremely friendly and funny.
A very lovable and cute cat, who you’re guaranteed to fall in love with.
