    Description

    Hello , I,m Bryn
A traveler ,and workaway volunteer myself during New Zealand's winter months when I head off to warmer climates.
When spring returns to New Zealand I also return to my own small hobby farm . It can become quite over grown and close to be re-wilding but the grass is still under control by a friend who cuts it just in time.

The property is about 60km south and inland from Nelson near to a small township called Tapawera.
It borders a small river that joins the Beautiful Motueka river a five minute walk away.

We have been planting many different kinds of fruit , nut trees and Thousands of natives plants ,trees along with developing a large pond for frogs and bird life plus a vegetable garden.

Currently have 500 native trees etc on order for planting this October.

The idea is the create a private Vehicle camping area and to work towards becoming self sufficient for various foods.

To reforest 400 meters of river side back to native as well as sections of the property with the aim to attract native birds, insects, fungi and all the way down to the microbobes.

We are still at the pioneer stage so are Really is best suited towards freedom campers ie( Those Traveling with own vehicle, camper van etc ) possibly waiting for the Apple picking season to start or the Hops harvest season across the road or down the road.
We provide a prime camper site spot next to the river ,all meals with frequent barbecues.
Also have a caravan and lovely small cabin also available for accommodation.

There is very limited public transport so having your own transport is best.
There is internet access by your own devices.
