Description
We are living 3 families and a couple together in an old but completely restored Farm 50 km north of Copenhagen in a small rural village consisting of 5 farms and a few villas. We have created a community running a non profit farm making produce only for ourselves. the vision is that with time we can be self sufficient. We have a few dogs, ducks, sheep and chickens, lots of fruit trees and orchard with a greenhouse.
We have 4 separate homes and have a small apartment free for the right person or couple to help us out on the farm.
We have in addition lots of common space like workshop, bar, cinema and lots of space that we are still figuring out what to use for. We are considering a farm shop and/or cafe
We have one building 90 sqm that is roughly restored but we are looking to create a great common kitchen. Are you carpenter it would be amazing.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

Our hobby farm is more than just a place; it’s a community grounded in Scandinavian traditions of simplicity, sustainability, and high-quality living. We believe in producing natural, wholesome products and growing them in a way that respects both the earth and the values we cherish.
Our approach emphasizes a hands-on, communal lifestyle where all produce – whether hops, fruits, vegetables, or herbs – is carefully tended, harvested, and preserved to retain its purest flavor. Rooted in the Scandinavian tradition, we conserve what we grow through fermentation and other natural methods, ensuring we savor each season’s abundance year-round.
We invite like-minded people to join us in celebrating this way of life, where quality and sustainability come together to form a unique connection to the land and to each other.
Let me know if you’d like more refined language for specific aspects or ideas for community outreach, branding, or product offerings!Aide
We are runding a non profit farm with a bio orchard for our own consumption, a fruit garden with lots of berries, apples, pear, cherries and plums. We have sheep’s, chickens and ducks. We are constantly developing the place and are looking to create a even bigger orchard. We are also planning to build a better common kitchen where we can prepare marmalade, drinks and ferment. We are looking for a person or a couple that can help out with practical work on the farm. Help plant and sustain the plants, feed and keep the animals , help built our common kitchen space, collect fruits and preserve them etc. Anyone with skills in bio farming or who can use his/her hands to build in wood or bricks. We provide a small apartment with kitchen and a bathroom and we can decide whether you are looking to make your own meals (and then work no more than 3 hours daily) or eat with us. We usually have 2-3 dinners a week together .
