Hello, My name is Lieven, 42 years old and I'm moving to France in April 2025 to renovate an old farm and start a nature-inclusive farm to be self-sufficient. I have a field of 0.35 ha where I want to grow vegetables and fruit. This can be started from 0. There is currently only a basic infrastructure. I provide accommodation, toilet, outdoor shower. My hobbies are walking in nature, visiting museums, listening to music, DIY, gardening, ICT, flea markets, ... In times gone by I tried to play the accordion. -

Mijn naam is Lieven, 42 jaar en ik verhuis in april 2025 naar Frankrijk om een oude boerderij te renoveren en er een natuur-inclusieve boerderij op te starten om zelfvoorzienend te kunnen leven.
Ik heb een akker van 0,35ha waar ik groenten en fruit wil kweken. Deze is vanaf 0 op te starten.
Er is op dit moment enkel een basis infrastructuur. Ik voorzie logement, wc, buitendouche.
Mijn hobby's zijn wandelen in de natuur, muzea bezoeken, muziek luisteren, doe-het-zelven, tuinieren, ICT, rommelmarkten, ... In vervlogen tijden probeerd ik accordeon te spelen.

Je m'appelle Lieven, j'ai 42 ans et je m'installe en France, 36140 Crevant en avril 2025 pour rénover une ancienne ferme et créer une exploitation agricole respectueuse de la nature pour vivre en autarcie.
J'ai un champ de 0,35 ha où je veux cultiver des légumes et des fruits. Cela peut commencer à partir de zéro.
Il existe actuellement peu d'infrastructures. Je prévue un tent, toilette, douche exterieur.
Je suis ouvert aux ajustements ;-)
Mes loisirs sont les promenades dans la nature, les visites de musées, la musique, le bricolage, le jardinage, informatique, brocantes, ... J'ai joué de l'accordéon.

First off all I'll explain the project, then we discuss what you want to do and/or learn. You can choose wether you help me in the morning, afternoon, evening. It's the intension to work together or near each other so we can have a talk while working.
I'll explain at your arrival the dinner times and what you like to eat. If you are vegatarian you'll have to learn me to create a good meal for you.
I have knowledges about DIY, ICT, nature, VW T3, can you learn Dutch.
Aide
You can help me in the garden, with the construction, with the ideas of redevelopment, with the ideas of cooking, with the learn to speak French.
Hulp is welkom om te helpen in de tuin, met de verbouwing, ideëen aanbrengen, koken, Frans leren spreken.
Vous pouvez m'aider dans le jardin, à réaménager, à proposer de nouvelles idées, à cuisiner, apprendre à parler français ...

I want to improve my french.
Hébergement
On the site there are 3 camp spots. I provide a tent or a vw van in summer, there will be a studio available in winter.The bedding will be present but you can bring you sleeping bag with you if you prefere. The toilet en douche is shared with me and other people if there is any.

I move from Belgium to France in april, so the accomodation will be basic in the beginning.
The nearest train station is Chateauroux, nearest bus station is in La Châtre. I can pick you up in La Châtre.
There is quiet to see or to do in the region despite the region is not known as 'touristic'.
